My experience here was marred by two issues, neither of which were the fault of the park itself. The primary issue was the lack of respect for camping space boundaries by children. They not only cycled across my area, but some even went as far as to throw large mushrooms they found growing nearby at my trailer. I was inside when I heard the impacts. I had to come out and ask them to leave. Needless to say, I was not pleased. But this was not the fault of the park. In addition, my camping spot was situated beneath power lines frequented by birds, leading to my trailer being soiled. Again, this was not the fault of the park. Looking back, I would opt for camping spots on the outskirts of the park, or possibly those that are tucked away. I've come to realize that when a campground offers activities for children, it's best to avoid the paths leading to these activities. Despite these issues, the park itself is quite lovely. I would consider returning, but I'd be more cautious in selecting my camping spot.

Our initial stop after purchasing our mobile camper was this location, during the Christmas season. The atmosphere was enjoyable, with amicable and supportive staff, well-kept surroundings, and spotless lavatories. The regular drive-through spots appeared a bit cramped, so we're planning to opt for a patio spot next time. The vicinity to highways resulted in some noise when outdoors, but it didn't disrupt our sleep. Overall, it was a positive initial encounter. I'm contemplating revisiting this place for the upcoming Christmas season.

Great place to stay. There were fun activities for the kids, a nice warm pool, a camp store with necessities and treats and plenty of staff around. It seems most Rv sites are pull through. We had a space with a little patch of grass and a picnic table. WiFi is free but slow.

Great place, we had a very large tent site that was in the corner and only had one neighbor. The site was nearly perfect, but basket ball court is on the other side of hedge and was loud into the night. Just kids having fun and glad they could. Dog park was a really nice touch and had all kinds of agility course things. Pool is amazing and lots of amenities. Our two nights were mid-week - Tues and Weds and unfortunately these were the exact two days the cafe was closed. I was able to walk to some shopping since moving the truck would take some tear down. Check in was fast and friendly. Weather was perfect, some traffic noise during the night, but not terrible.

PREFACE: Perplexed because I simply cannot figure out how there can be SO MANY kids and dogs here, given the average size of a coach/fifth wheel/trailer. There are at least 200 slips here plus a bunch of cabins and tiny houses. After careful consideration and observation, we have concluded that each individual dwelling unit contains 2.4 adults, 12.7 persons under the age of 18 (PUTAOE) and 1.9 dogs. (This is sarcasm however there are ALOT of children here.) This is by far the best looking park we’ve stayed in so far; the landscaping is absolutely lush and our two small senior dogs LOVE all the grass and are doing their best to keep it fertilized. Most of the slips are pull-through with full hookups, level concrete pads, DIsh Network cable TV. Very large pool area and lots of bikes and stuff for rent. Have not been to bath house or laundry however given the way the place is maintained, I’m sure they’re spotless. AT&T is two bars and property internet is a decent 19 Mb down and 5 Mb up. I’m confident the hamster team here is following the best organic vegan non-GMO diet and a strict exercise routine to create this bandwidth on a daily basis. Bravo! Average daily rate pre-tax was $107.50 and we got a 10% KOA member discount so this is far and away\the most expensive place we’ve stayed and hey, this is the San Diego Metro KOA Resort! 6/10 which would be a 9/10 If they increased the spaces between rigs and decreased the ratio of PUTAOE to dwelling units. On the other hand, if you’re looking for lots of PUTAOE, look no further! Gas prices in AZ were in the $4.90 range and we topped off in Yuma. The cheapest gas we’ve seen here in CA are in the low $6.00 range so with our 55 gallon tank, we won’t be buying any CA gas. And finally, loving the temperature here: it’s 8:30 and temp is 68! Love it!
