Upon my initial visit, I arrived slightly after the establishment had closed. Nevertheless, I reached out to Michelle who was extremely kind and accommodating, choosing to remain beyond her working hours to assist us with our accommodation. The entire team has demonstrated nothing but kindness and willingness to help. The place is equipped with comprehensive facilities. It offers both back-in and pull-through parking areas. The smaller sites are situated at the front, where I've noticed a few tents, while the larger areas for bigger vehicles are located further back. The environment is tranquil with a lovely lake suitable for fishing. The property is fantastic, boasting a well-maintained laundromat that is reasonably priced. In addition, there are several playgrounds available for children's enjoyment!

Our accommodation for a week-long visit to relatives in West Palm Beach was this park. It's situated in Lake Worth, within the greater John Prince Park. The camping area is secure, tidy, and well-kept; it wasn't particularly crowded. Lake Osborne offers plenty of paths for walking. The primary park offers a variety of facilities, including a dog park managed by the county. The overall experience was indeed favorable. We will surely choose this place again for our next family visit.

I journeyed to this location with a large 35-foot 5th wheel and a long bed pickup, occupying spots #45 and #48, E/W, BI spots at a rate of $44 per night. This campsite is quite expansive and hosts numerous long-term, monthly occupants. The area designated for brief visits is conveniently near the water. The roads and camping spots were surfaced with asphalt. Spot 45 was positioned in a circular area, making it effortless to back into. However, it lacked any seclusion since it was directly by the circle's entrance and one of the primary campsite roads. This spot didn't offer any shade, in contrast to others that had full to partial shade. A communal fire pit is located in the circle's center for all the spots to share. The park tends to be quite loud due to the noise from cars, trucks, RVs, boats, planes (as it's adjacent to an airport), trains, and jet skis. The bathhouse was well-maintained, although I didn't utilize the showers. The laundry facility was adequately sized, but half of the machines were out of order. Given the campsite's size, there was always a queue for the machines. There were numerous OTA channels, decent wifi, and 3 bars LTE with Verizon (allowing me to stream in the evening). I extended my visit by a few days and relocated to #48, which was directly by the water. It's an exceptional spot with ample space, a pleasant view, and a double-wide asphalt pad. The park itself is extensive with numerous activities. I would certainly contemplate visiting this place again.

We arrived intending to spend just a single night. The list of requirements to lodge here was extensive: identification for all grown-ups present, registration for every incoming party, examination records - it was overwhelming for a mere overnight stay! Shortly after we settled in, an unexpected issue arose forcing us to depart. Our request for a reimbursement was denied. Overall, it was a highly unsatisfactory encounter.

Fantastic campground. We had a site that backs up to Lake Osborne. Paved pad with full hook ups. Wide spacious site. Plenty of wildlife around including alligators in the lake. We did not see any, great lake for fishing. Boat launch in campground.

This is an RV park not a campground. Our tent site on the lake was ok and spacious but this park is jam packed with huge RVs. The place is huge. No privacy between sites. A lot of the RVs are here for an extended time and it does not have the feel of a campground. No campfires. Restrooms are nice and clean. Lots of traffic and airport noise. Today the noise from jet skis was annoying.

As others have said, this is a nice county park that can be a great stopover point. The lakefront sites have the most room and best view. However, the park is close enough to I-95 and a few other large local roads that, to me, there’s way too much road noise to sleep at night.

We are in the middle of a four month stay. To verify other reviews, the campground and bath houses are clean the vast majority of the time. To contrast other reviews, yes, there are loops where the campsites are close together, however there are other spots in the park with fairly large sights and plenty of shade. We recently switched to T-Mobile for their 55+ plans and have not been disappointed with the throughput of our LTE and 5G hotspots (iPhones). During the winter much of the campground is filled with campers staying longer term, but each week so far we have seen a steady a stream of campers staying for just a few days. Campground is gated and is quiet at night. The only real noise comes from a municipal airport adjacent to the campground.

Beautiful area! Lots of birds and iguanas to observe. Beautiful lake that you can launch at. Paved walk/bike path throughout the park. Some dirt trails to hike on too. Site are close together but everyone was very nice and friendly and pretty much kept to themselves unless you approached them. Sites have picnic tables. Full hook ups. My site was tight backing in so I made it a pull through haha. Had to level the trailer. Good location but very populated and busy area. Good cell coverage for Verison and ATT if you need to work.

My site was on the lake; bird watching was great; spacious and mostly shaded sites; restrooms were clean and showers included bench, plastic mat, large fan, well ventilated and very good water pressure; lots of areas to walk or jog; good paved roads; centrally located to shopping; easy access; right next to golf course; was early and since my site was empty I was allowed to check-in; if you are on lake you can launch your kayak or canoe directly from your campsite; free wifi good most of the time; quiet and campers were very friendly and helpful.

Nice clean campground. Very accommodating. Nice friendly staff. Close to beach and good restraunts downtown. We would definitely recommend it. And also lots of iguanas to watch.

We had a boy’s (my dad, my son {7}, and me) Memorial Day Weekend (05/28-30/2021) at John Prince Campground. This was our first time there. The park is only 45 minutes from home but it was more than an hour and a half due to I-95 holiday traffic. Once we arrived at the park, I noticed the signage that leads to the campground area. The signs were obvious and well placed making it easy as a first timer there. The guard gate to enter the park has plenty of parking while you register. If you have all the documents they require, which will be in your confirmation email, the check-in process is seamless and quick. The ranger was very helpful during the check-in. The campground has a gated and secured entrance (code provided in confirmation email and ranger writes it on your parking pass) completely separated from the rest of the park (it’s an island, sort of). The campground has two areas adjacent to each other; 14 day limit (short term) and a long term. Both areas provide full service at the sites. Once we entered the campground, we just followed the directions the ranger gave us towards our site; site 94. Our site is a back-in on the lake. I was surprised how leveled the site is. The leveling system barely adjusted the rig. That area of the campground has the sites a bit closer to each other but still with enough distance between them. I loved the view with the lake behind us, specially during sunrise. The best thing is that there is plenty of shade at the rear of the site during the late afternoon; great to sit and enjoy the boats, people tubing, fishing, and jet skies on the lake. The site has full hookups; all worked well. There is also a connection for cable tv but I got more channels, and with better image, with the over-the-air antenna (I do have a booster, not sure if it made a big difference). During this stay we remain in the campground area. We did not explore the rest of the park. The campground had many large trees throughout which provide shade. Unfortunately there are many sites which don’t have shade most of the day, including the one we were in. The South Florida sun beats down hard. There are several playgrounds for children (very important with a seven year old), bathhouses (older but very clean), which some were closed due to COVID-19, and several large communal campfire areas. It is to be noted that the park is adjacent to an airport with small planes, helicopters, and paramotors. The air traffic is only during the day time which I was not bothered by it. It was actually enjoyable to watch while enjoying the outdoors. I did not see or heard any air traffic during the evenings. The lake appears to be “THE” spot to be with boaters, jet skiers, and kayakers. There is activity on the water all day and into the evening but not too late. Our quick get-away at John Prince Park was successful. We enjoyed the campground. We will definitely be returning and take advantage of the rest of the park next time. I feel this park would be a great nearby getaway for us. We felt safe throughout our stay. We saw park rangers and the sheriff’s office driving in the area. Overall, everyone we came into contact with was very pleasant and friendly. John Prince Park is a great location to go camping. We are looking forward to our next visit. I feel that you would enjoy it too.

The most crowded, packed in campground we have ever experienced. The campsites are so close you can almost touch their rig. It’s actually sad that hundreds of families use this Campground. Our site is in the front, (their map is incorrect) so EVERY SINGLE CAR AND TRUCK coming and going drove by w/i 10 feet of us. We are surrounded by campers. To top it off, they border a municipal airport w helicopters & planes coming & going all day. We were told we could see the water, & we can but there’s a busy street and neighborhood across the lake. Plus side: best showers ever! Lots of pressure, open-air louvered doors, private showers, lots of hot water, clean.

Just beautiful! We checked in Thursday afternoon & out Sunday. Check in at the guard gate was fairly easy - you are asked for your vehicle registration - fortunately I had it scanned & accessible on my phone! Oops I forgot the paper version lol. The grounds are immaculate with loads of wildlife: variety of water foul-but not a TON of ducks so very little muck, iguanas, oh and the occasional alligator! We kept the doggies away from the water’s edge, they make a great gator snack & are very fast. The extra $2 for water side was well worth it. The electric hookup has a light that comes on at dusk. Electric, Water spigot, & sewer hook up are reasonably spaced all on one side with smooth blacktop spaces. A sturdy metal & wood picnic table is at each spot as well. However, the spaces are not very level. We maxed out our stabilizer drop downs & realized we probably should invest in some of those ramp blocks lol. It is fairly quiet, in the middle of a HUGE, 726 acre, beautiful park with all types of fields, dog parks, brackish lakes & rivers etc. Great fishing. Only downside that posed a minor issue at first, backing in can be tricky even for our small RV with a great turning radios with our Jeep. Easy pull out though. Our entry faced another entry at the end of the road with about 8’ across from each other. A 32’ C class had to drive onto our grass to get into his space - we had to close our awning so he could squeeze in. Other than that, no biggie, challenges make life interesting! 😉 We could hear planes from a small local airport (no commercial flights that we noticed) helicopters & small single engine planes on occasion. The staff are very kind & unobtrusive, they are not concerned about anything unless you are causing disruption. They have frequent security that roams about all night, some throughout the day. We were across from a boat ramp. I know there were public bathrooms but we didn’t use or visit them, the peeps next to our space did and said they were very clean. The huge dog parks are on the other side of the park, across a major road, at least a mile away. They are huge and well kept. We will definitely be back! We loved it.

Beautiful 301 site campground within a larger county park. My opinion that it was a super campground hobbled by a terrible office was echoed by other campers we met. One of which told me a number of horror stories about the office. Of the four staff members seen in the tiny office, only the one male seemed competent or caring. Check in procedures require campers to bring in physical copies of Motor Vehicle registration slips and photos of the construction inspection certification emblems of their camper and photos of tags. Upon check in I received no welcome or maps or directions. Streets had no directional signage as to site numbers. However the campground in very well maintained and equipped.
