This campground has a lot of potential, but it’s way overpriced. If you’re visiting Hershey park it’s a great option though! Cons: 1. The price is outrageous for what you get. We paid $132 a night here and we’ve camped at Disney world fort wilderness and at beach resorts for less than that. 2. There’s hardly anything around here except Hershey park which we didn’t go to. 3. The pool is so small for the amount of sites they have here. It was always completely packed. And the circular thing in pics is not a jacuzzi .. it’s a fountain that takes up a ton of space and no one is allowed in it. So just know the pool looks nice but it’s tiny and crowded. 4. The sites are just dirt and gravel. Pros: 1. Game room and laundry were in good condition. 2. Mini golf was free and the kids liked that. 3. They have food trucks and ice cream trucks which was really cute. 4. They host little games and competitions which was fun for the kids as well. 5. The office staff is very nice and accommodating for early check-ins.

We stayed here over the Father’s Day weekend and upon arrival I was very impressed with the check-in process and how friendly the staff were. The heated pool and splash pad area were very nice, maybe a little on the small side, but overall it was a nice place to spend some time. It was unseasonably cool this year so we didn’t stay long. I only used the bathhouse one time on checkout day but it seemed clean and I wouldn’t have hesitated to use it if I didn’t have my own shower. The site we were in was fairly level, stone pad and I had no problems backing in my 40’ fifth wheel all by myself. The sites come with a stone fire pit and picnic table. Again, if I was nitpicking, I would say the sites may be a little close, but I didn’t feel crowded. Traffic on the main road during the day was steady and patience is a must when waiting for a break to pull out, especially with the camper attached. We had no issues driving into Hershey for the day and it took about 12 minutes. There is a lot to do around the area, I think next time we will come back for a longe time. I do wish the price wasn’t so high, but I think for what you get it’s probably a fair deal. Lastly I just wanted to compliment the activities director who planned a whole weekend of thing for the kids and family to participate in (ex. Fishing tournament, arts and crafts, ect). Only reason I didn’t give five stars is the price.

Lovely park, lots of amenities. Site fee a little elevated, as we were there over the July 4th holiday. Our site was a little short for a 35' foot motor home, towing a small SUV, so we parked our car in the grass. Everything was great otherwise, and we enjoyed our stay very much. The store is well-appointed, there is a great pool area and a mini-golf course. They also have a small pond for the kids to fish in, but it is stocked with catch-and-release koi (which we found strange so skipped that activity). There is also a modest arcade for the kids, and a pavilion for large groups. We'll be back as we love Troeg's and the Hershey Park, both nearby.

This is how Hershey Road Campground. Campground is what you pay for: gorgeous bathrooms and yards. No trees though so very hot. GLAMPING at its finest. However, NOWHERE did it say tents weren’t allowed and the owner apparently sent security to our site while we weren’t there and then came to talk to us again. I looked on website again and it actually says tents ARE allowed. We won’t go back because of how they treated us.
