Very old-fashioned, regimented site clearly run for the benefit of its permanent residents. Strandcamping is a misleading title as it's not on the beach, and indeed the beach is a rather circuitous walk away. Staff were officious, keen to issue list of rules - e.g. silence between 1pm and 3pm, no children on the playpark at this time, etc. We were directed to pitch and staff even supervised to ensure we parked properly. My partner was accosted by staff when trying to find the laundry and asked what she was doing on the site. Staff refused to believe she was a paying guest at first. Not very friendly. Sanitary facilities old fashioned, though spotlessly clean. Had lots of trouble finding the site as there is a lot of building work going on in the vicinity which has complicated access arrangements, and makes it very narrow for accessing with a caravan, trailer or mobile home. Felt it was poor value for money for the old-fashioned facilities and grass pitch

Landal Travemunde is een prachtig park met zeer moderne huisjes die voorzien zijn met alle voorzieningen in het huisje. Extra is de sauna die klein is maar voor twee personen perfect. De ligging is op het schiereiland Priwall en direct aan een mooi zand strand. Om travemunde te bereiken is het beste dit te voet te doen en met de pontje naar de overkant te gaan (1euro p/p enkele reis of een meer ritten kaart kopen ee auto kost daarbij nog eens 3.20 euro extra ) ook is er een voetgangers pondje dat alleen door de weeks gaat misschien in de zomer elke dag ??
