Hopetoun
Powered (fee) or unpowered (free) camping around a man made lake near the town of Hopetoun. Hot showers, camp kitchen and flushing toilets are available in the powered section. Unpowered, free camping is permitted around the lake.
Basic campground with 4 sites, on the edge of the beach in Cape Conran Coastal Park. Easy access to the beach via stairs. Beautiful little campground with sheltered and secluded sites amongst the coastal scrub. No toilets or other facilities provided.
Talbingo
This is a National Parks free camping site. The slope of the ground limits tent based camping as the level sites are usually taken up by vehicles. When reviewed, NP staff were mowing the grass and had cleaned out the toilets.
Bool Lagoon
Campground along side one of the largest freshwater wetlands in South Australia. The (caravan accessable) sites are undefined, level and some provide good shade/shelter from the wind. There are flushing toilets, gas barbecues and picnic tables.
Zumsteins
An old timber-mill site in the flat hung valley of the Mackenzie River, above Mackenzie Falls. Good shade provided by pines and Stringybark, surrounded by a Stringybark forest with a thick understory of tea tree. Can be popular, sharing of fireplaces may be necessary. Tap & 'bush shower'. Rated 3.
Steiglitz
Fridays is close to several bush walking trails in the Brisbane Ranges national park and Steiglitz history town. Ten sites available. Sites are closely clustered together - no privacy / screening between sites. Fire pits - each one shared between two sites.
South Bruny
Direct access to a beautiful beach in sheltered part of Great Taylors Bay, this is a basic but attractive and tidy campground. Most of the sites are pretty level, although there is not a lot of grass if you are in a tent and most of the sites are well shaded by the large eucalypts.
Nelligen
Surrounded by water on three sides, this 16 acre parkis a green oasis in the blue. The resort style swimmingpool, huge water park, two inflatable trampolines, tenniscourt and large oval for ball games, there is something foreveryone.
Congo
This campground is a quiet grassy spot on the edge of the Eurobodalla National Park. There are quite a few spots although there are none marked. Quite a few caravans and campers use this spot which is right on the edge of the river inlet that leads to the ocean.
Fortescue
A great spot to base yourself for adventures around the Tasman Peninsula.Large camping area. Starting point for several spectacular walks.
Lake Lonsdale
Rather dry bush camping (no facilities) in open, level woodland near the lake. Reasonable shade from scattered Yellow Gums and River Red Gums on grass covered sand with an understory of wattles.
Abercrombie River
Well established camping areas with ammenity blocks with hot showersA great spot for a family trip. From exploring the caves, swimming near the waterfall in the creek that runs through the camp grounds or fishing for trout. This is a very popular campground in peak times.
Port Kenny
Outback camping on farmstay property with excellent and unique facilities. The campground is set up with an excellent camp kitchen, undercover swag platforms, huge communal are and fire pit, gas barbecues and much more.
Broke
Large grassy campground on the Wollombi River right in Broke, NSWThis is a fairly large campground, surrounded by bush, and has basic facilities (picnic tables, rubbish bins and toilets).
Mystery Bay
On the edge of the beach with basic facilities, lovely spot. Well shaded by spotted gums and surrounded by banksia and wattles. Pets (under control) are permitted. Firewood available for purchase. Cold water showers.
MacArthur
Pleasant, level, grassed and shaded sites just below the scoria slopes of Mt Eccles. Originally named Mt Eeles by Major Mitchell. Sites vary in size, are semi-dispersed over a large area of bush, most share the 10 BBQs and taps, 2 toilet blocks (1 with hot showers).

A very pleasant, attractive, quiet camp. One of the best camps in Western Victoria. Each of the 5 well dispersed sites has a table, BBQ and pit fireplace, small level parking and are well shaded by large Messmate and Blue Gums: wet sclerophyll forest similar to the Dandenongs. Rated 4.
Shell Cove
Close quarters camping, a short walk from the beach, with hot showers. This is a actually quite an expensive place to camp, at $30 per head, but the hot showers make up for it. There is a camp kitchen, and barbecue as well as individual fire pits for each campsite.
High Wycombe
An attractive green camp by the upper Goulburn River (a rushing creek). Well shaded by tall Mountain Ash and wattles, surrounded by steep slopes forested with Messmate. A couple of open, sunny sites. Some sites slope. Kookaburras, rosellas, finches common. Lyrebirds might be seen.
Tocumwal
On the bank of the Murray River. Large beach site with choice of camping along the beach or under trees. Tourist town, can be very busy in the summer months. A large site, camping and caravans, on the river first in best dressed.
