No complaints! The owners were very nice (this is their last year here and selling the property, so can’t say much about future owners). We stayed for a little over a week and had no issues (The first night we couldn’t get the power on, but all they needed to do was flip the breaker). Our spot didn’t have a campfire and was close to the neighbors, but the neighbors were never home (I think they just rented the spot to store their RV). There are spots that have more room and fire pits by the river though. It was quiet at night. The owner had daily activities. A good central spot to everywhere we wanted to go (no more than a 2hr drive)- White mountains NH, Stowe, Woodstock, etc. I would definitely stay here again. Signal was 2 or 3 bars LTE

The campground is nice, with great access to the calm, and relatively shallow, Israel River. Very well located near the White Mountain National Forest, with just a 30-min drive to either Mt. Washington or the Flume Gorge.

We booked based upon Campendium recommendations but were very disapppointed. Unless you are a tent camper the Onion River is not in view and campground has not groomed along the shoreline or removed dead trees; thus it is hard to see the river unless you access it thru one of the tent sites. The biggest issue was loud traffic noise from US 2. I should have anticipated this by looking at a map, but missed it entirely. We found our close neighbors to be very nice young people. Park has so much potential but needs work. Too many campers for the little washroom/showers, in my opinion.

We stayed here 2 nights in July and it was absolutely beautiful wish we could come back in the fall. The people are amazingly friendly, not just the staff but everyone we saw. They had blueberries you could pick (if ripe) and we saw a small apple orchard that were not ripe. Wonderful trails through the meadows, and a lovely “creek” with access for fishing. My kids had a blast exploring this campground. We had water and electric in a large grass site. With the Passport America discount it was $20 a night. They have a dump station that was easy to use. We did not use the showers so I can’t comment on them other than they were there. Side note this is about 30 min from the first Ben and Jerry’s factory (make sure to schedule a tour online) and 20 minutes from Montpellier.

We found Moose River campground because we wanted to visit Stowe Vermont in the October for the Fall and Moose River was the only campground we could find near the area that was open but it turned out being a wonderful option. We got super lucky to get a seasonal spot with a practical front yard facing the River. This isn’t common for every site but most all sites are on the River which is a gorgeous view. There are a lot of seasonal campers there so it feels like you’re staying in a small tight knit community. They provide bagels and muffins every Sunday free of charge which just adds to the charm. The owners, Mary and Gary are super friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay here again!

We had a great stop - very easy to enter, find the dumps station and water hose. Everyone (staff and campers) were very helpful. Our first dump stop!!

I didn’t stay here but they were on a path for boondocking. I called to ask if I could fill up water and they were very nice and allowed to fill up water at the campground. Cute place, with grassy camp spots next to a small river.

I called ahead to ask questions about the campground, if they could accommodate us. She said yes, to make the reservation online. Got our confirmation, but we were not on the books when we got there. She found us a spot in a field in the grass anyway with 50 AMPS. It was not level at all. Then when we dumped the next morning, the sewage was full and spewed out on us until we back it down. The campground had an amazing setting! Right on a cool river. And the staff was nice the one time we saw them. Just not great for a class a motor coach.
