We parked our 35-foot fifth wheel at a location where the only power source was a 50 amp hookup. Our spot was the nearest to the roadway among all others, yet due to its secluded location, the noise from the road was barely noticeable and didn't bother us. The site was spacious, providing plenty of room for maneuvering. Filling up my water tank on the property was a breeze. Although there was a dump station, I didn't need to use it. The office personnel were quite affable. The entire park was well-maintained. A restroom facility was available on site, but I had no need for it. WiFi was accessible, but my spot was out of range, however, the Verizon mobile network coverage was excellent.

We spent a very pleasant month in this campground. It’s heavily wooded, quiet, and very well-maintained. It has Crooked River State Park right across the road. Interestingly, they were full and put us in a overflow site, which we considered our good fortune because it had full hook ups but also a great expanse of nature in front of us. Felt like more of a premium site. The staff was very gracious, helpful and accommodating. Full hookups all worked perfectly. Wifi pretty much useless but they don’t promise otherwise. Verizon cell works great. Very few over the air channels (too many trees?). Laundry room looked nice enough but we did not use. Game room with many games and a library. We camped in a 20’ TT. Would definitely come back

Easy location to naval base. Good connections - though a bit of odd locations, so bring extra lengths. Level sites and nice staff.

Staff is very friendly. We had to change our travel plans 3 times due to the pandemic. Owner and staff made changes so we could stay an extra week without moving from site to site. What a plus

I have a 44 foot Class A motorhome. I made reservations for the Big Wheel RV Park 6 months in advance. I was never given a site number and was told I would get one when I arrive. While I was camping at the nearby Crooked Creek State Park, I stopped by to see what site I would be given. I was told I could have site 18. I expressed my dissatisfaction after seeing it, because of how narrow the site was and how it had of view of the unsightly bath house. I was then given site 4 or 8. Even though management tried, all the sites were unpleasing to the eye, and too close to each other. I asked to cancel my reservations two days before my reservation, and was told I would not get my deposit back. Although I did not stay here, I would not recommend this campground. Especially if you like a little space or a pleasant view of anything.

We rode out the Coronavirus quarantine in April at this park. Our rate reflects the monthly rate. Plus electric. The park is very small with 35 sites and very quiet. The owner and ladies who work in the office are great. I can see why they have many repeat customers. There are trees everywhere and the sites are large with privacy in between. The laundry room is very basic but it did the job. Crooked River State park is across the street and was actually open. It’s a great place to walk along the river and under the trees.
