Pleasant camping by an extended Murray River beach surrounded by River Red Gum flood plain forest and lagoons. Prolific bird life. Semi-dispersed sites are generally level with short grass and well shaded by River Red Gum saplings. Two pit toilets. Being handy to Cobram it is popular.
Bodalla
Pleasant overnight picnic area just off the Princess Highway, about 10km north of Narooma. Site and duration limited, overnight spot suitable for vehicle based camping, although tents are allowed. Level spots.

A pleasant, reasonably large site on grassed creek flats sloping down to the Lima East (Moonee Moonee or Black Charlie) Creek, surrounded by steep forested hills. Overlooked by the low use forestry road. Some shade is provided by scattered Narrow-leaved Peppermint, Mountain Ash and Blackwood wattle.
Kingston on Murray
Dispersed bush camping by the Ovens River just before its junction with the Murray River, the upper reaches of Lake Mulwala. Surrounded by flood plain forest - dense immature River Red Gum with an understory of wattle. Low level banks with no beaches. Rated 4.

Basic bush campground on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River, suitable for caravans or tents. There is easy access to the water for fishing or launching a kayak. Long drop toilets, rubbish bins and fire pits are provided. Plenty of shady sites or a couple of more open ones if you need solar.
A nice little camp spot run by the town with power, toilets and hot shower. Maisie Thompson Camping Ground is in Gooloogong, almost the half way point between Forbes and Cowra A small quiet friendly country town It is across the road from the pub and small shops as well.
Tullibigeal
A beautiful, peaceful sub-alpine camp overlooking a small, marshy snow plain (spring wildflowers), backed by forested ridge tops. Set in a forest reserve at 1,080m. Rated 4. 3/5. Magpies, rosellas, wombats and wallabies are common.
Oatlands
Free, overnight stopover on the edge of Lake Dulverton. The grassy banks of the lake make a lovely campsite, and there are some good level sites for caravans, and plenty of grass for tents. There is no shade, or shelter as the banks in the camping area have no trees.
Inneston
With magnificent view of this rugged coastline, this campsite is near the entrance to Innes National Park. There is easy access to the beach, and not being as poplar as some of the other campgrounds in this park, it offers a bit more peace and quiet.
