This wooded campground is bordered on the west by Big Yellow Creek a stocked trout stream. This stream is the main source of water for the 720 acre lake at Yellow Creek State Park. All sites include electric and water hook-ups as well as a fire ring and picnic table. Five cabins are available for overnight camping. The heated bathhouse offers restroom and shower facilities. The pavilion is also available for all camp activities. The camp store offers ice, firewood, camping supplies, live bait and fishing supplies, propane, dry goods, ice cream and snacks. Even though modern conveniences are offered such as WIFI, traditional woodland camping is promoted. The campground offers a place to take a break from the stress and fast pace of life by getting into nature, playing in the stream, sitting around the campfire for hot dogs, s’mores and mountain pies and spending time with family and friends.
