During the initial days of May, we lodged at the Pine Campground, positioned within Navajo Lake State Park, specifically at pitch number 71. The panorama from our site was breathtaking, encompassing the entirety of Navajo Lake, the marina, and a path that led directly to the lake. Our pitch was flat and came equipped with a concrete slab, 30 amp electric hookup, water supply, a picnic table under a shelter, and a fire pit. The washroom facilities, which were clean and well-kept, were conveniently close by and offered complimentary warm showers. Garbage bins were situated at the loop entrance. Our pitch received decent Verizon coverage, with four bars of service. The campground's proximity to the awe-inspiring Aztec Ruins was the main reason for our selection. We eagerly anticipate a lengthier stay at this ideal camping location in the future.

Poorly run. No customer service. No security. People partying till 1am. No cell service or internet as advertised. Internet has been broken for a while. Was planning on staying 7 nights. There arent any phone numbers to call anyone. Aramark corporate needs to replace management and a few employees. Moved to Ancient Cedars. Much nicer place.

On arrival no full hook up left but once paid you choose your own site. Lets just say good luck with a travel trailer trying to find a site that is long enough ( we are only 20”) and level. Because of rain the ground was very boggy. Not much to do in site. Hiked up point look out for sunset which was nice. Great views. The campsite could use a bit a of work. But if you are only here for mesa verde it doesn’t matter much about site. FYI. Book tours ahead of time as you won’t get in same day

This is a beautiful campground with very wide spread out sites, vault toilets, and water (hand pump). All sites have a picnic table and a fire ring, about half of them have also a pagoda. It's next to the Dolores river. It also has a day use area with a boat ramp. The fee for one night is $8 ($4 with lifetime senior pass and possibly other passes). When I was there in September 2022 the place was almost empty. I will go back there when I'm again in the area. To get there you have to drive about 6 miles from US 491 (going from Cortez, CO to Monticello, UT) on very well maintained dirt roads.

This is our 3rd stay here, this time we were in Hopi Loop close to the entrance of the loop. This is a dry camping loop so we chose this site to utilize our solar, we were also close to the WiFi repeater. We did use the campground WiFi on occasion but also we’re able to get 1-3 Mgbts on our T-Mobile Hot Spot.
