About The Shack
The Shack offers basic guest accommodation and is located in Park Rynie, a small resort town on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. The property is situated behind owner's main house, across the road from the beach, separated by a train track.
The Shack has four self catering units, close to the beach, each fitted with a double bed. Each unit has an en-suite bathroom with shower and opens up onto a patio area with braai facilities.
All are equipped with Wi-Fi, fan, a seating area and a TV with selected DStv channels. Basic self-catering facilities are available and include a 2-plate stove, bar fridge and a microwave. A tent is also available which is built off the ground with its own en-suite and kitchenette. Both a bicycle rental service and a car rental service are available at The Shack, while hiking and cycling can be enjoyed nearby.

Scottburgh is home to thousands of bird species including the brilliantly coloured Knysna and Purple-crested Lourie and a wide variety of waterfowl, vervet monkeys, dolphins and whales. Scottburgh is a thriving coastal resort and a perfect holiday destination. With a year round sub-tropical climate and warm waters, it is an ideal snorkelling, swimming, diving and surfing destination. It also boasts a fine selection of accommodation establishments, restaurants and after dark activities.
Excellent. Host was very helpfull and concerned. Had to make an urgent booking due to the protests on the N2. The host made an effort for our safety when could eventually drive thru to Port Shepston.
