Nice CG at the end of very rough potholed, washboard road. However, there were signs that road maintenance was about to begin end of Sept 2022, so maybe it will be better in the future. Parts of the CG are in thick forest, while some of the sites are fairly open -- it's a mix. Sites are generally flat. There were several vault toilets but not all were open, I think because it was late in the season. Reasonably clean and stocked with toilet paper. Trailheads for N Fork and S Fork Teton River are nearby. No to intermittent cell signal (verizon). Sites have fire ring, BBQ, picnic table. Some have tent pads. The trailheads are popular, so there's traffic related to that, but it dies down at night. Overall a nice CG and I'd stay here again. As noted in another review, this is not close to Teton National Park!

Arrived to the campground and found it was very easy to back in a 22ft travel trailer into site #3. Gravel road all the way to the campground, you will go over a few cattle guards and through a few fields of free roaming cows before you get to the actual campground. No potholes on the main road into the campground. When you pull into Teton Canyon campground go straight as that’s the correct way around the loop and makes it easiest to get into your site. Be cautious as you pass site #1 a few big potholes that you will want to go slow over. There are several beautiful hiking trails that you can access from the campground. There are moose and bears in the area on the hiking trails, hike with a partner and have bear spray on hand. Highly recommend this campground in late spring early summer for wildflowers and mid/late September for fall colors as there are a lot of aspen trees surrounding the campground with beautiful views of the Tetons.

I made the mistake of not doing my homework when reserving this campground. It is nice, but I thought we would be close to Teton National Park - it is not. You do get a spectacular West to East view of the Tetons, but the National Park and Jackson, WY are on the other side which is a 50 min to 1 hour drive. After several miles on a very dusty and somewhat rutted dirt road (the dust gets everywhere), we arrived at the campground which is very nice and there are a mix of sun, partial sun, and shade spaces. We were in space one, which is shown in one of the pictures another camper posted. It was an okay space, but almost any other space in the park is better. Most spaces have a nice fire pit, grill, and an framed/level space for a tent or screen room (in addition to the space for your RV/vehicle) . I didn't measure the space, but a 10X10 would fit, possibly a 12x12. As I recall, spaces 1 and 8 are in full sun, 2 is an excellent pull through in shade, and 3-7 are in shade as well. No services, but water is available in several spots around the campground. Either fill up before you park your rig or be prepared to port water from a container. No electric or dump station. Nearest dump station is in the Sinclair station in town of Victor about 30 minutes away from the camp on the way to Jackson. Dump station there is free with a fill up of gas. This is a very popular hiking spot, and there is a decent size parking lot for day use adjacent to the camp. The camp hosts here were average. They didn't do regular patrols of the camp, never stopped by to verify our reservation or say hello, and were often hard to find. Many dog owners had their dogs off leash and I had to use my bear spray on one who came after me and my dog. For what it's worth, I'm finding this to be the case fairly often in campgrounds (mostly semi-boon docking campgrounds without hookups), so I always carry some type of animal spray when walking my dog (on a leash!). Bathrooms were marginally clean. There is a very nice grocery store in Alta about 20 minutes away, and the drive to Jackson from here is beautiful, just long. There is a pass you have to drive over, but it is one of the easiest I've ever driven at that altitude. Just expect a lot of traffic going in/out of Jackson which will add to your drive. Regarding my ratings, Access would be five stars if not for all the dust on the dirt road and it could stand to be graded a bit. Location would be five stars if I really wanted to camp and hike the east side of the Tetons, but for our purposes it was not convenient to Jackson or Teton NP. The sites themselves were very clean even through I rarely saw the camp hosts about, and the bathrooms had a ton of flies but were fairly clean and stocked with TP. The camp was very quiet. There was generally availability for first come / first served and several boon docking sites along the dirt road before the camp that you can use.

A fantastic campground with everything you need to camp, trees and mountains. I don’t need cell phones, don’t care about luxuries, it was beautiful, the restrooms were clean, water right across from our site, fantastic hiking, friendly campers, easy access. I would definitely go there again.
