Nice park close to downtown Truckee. Pull-thru sites are spacious. Access from both sides so RV's are back to back. No having to step out your door just to see the neighbor's sewer hook-up. Nice picnic tables. No fire pit which is understandable. Bathrooms are clean but a bit outdated.

We stayed here in our 38' motorhome with toad and had plenty of room. Our site had plenty of space to set up and enjoy under the trees. The park had a great staff and a great community room. They served almost a full breakfast on Saturdays! The town of Truckee has a small town feel, but had all the stores you need. They have a Thursday Market which was fun with live music. We did a day trip to Lake Tahoe which was close and beautiful.

We stayed here 8 nights and were very pleased with the cleanliness and peaceful surroundings. We were a bit more out in the open, so our awning and AC came in handy. There is a huge big and little dog park and the campground is so well situated to everything you could want. 5 min to historic Truckee or central Truckee, 35 min to Lake Tahoe. The sites are very close together but everyone is very respectful. We have a 33 foot rig and a diesel truck, so backing in was tricky. Good Sam discount given!

Stayed here 2 nights in our 28ft trailer. Not far from the freeway so easy access to everything. Spots are situated between the trees which is nice. Spots were clean but close to each other. We got a spot in between 2 large trees so backing in was a challenge but doable. 2 bathrooms with showers inside and laundry room next door. They had a great dog park area. Small dog and large dog sections. It was a very large fenced off area with dog bags provided to clean up after your dogs. We had full hook ups but noticed they also had a dumb station and potable water station for those who needed it.

Nice and clean, great location, beautiful big trees throughout, quiet. Management was nice and gave us a late checkout at no extra charge. Sites are close together, like zero property line between us and our neighbor, but it was totally fine. Guess it just depends who you end up next to. Trees blocked our Starlink, but cell coverage was very good, so it evened out.

Really enjoyed our stay at Coachland and would definitely return! Pros: - Under new management and they are fantastic! Kind, thoughtful, fair and truly looking to make your stay positive. Booking our stay and check-in was easy peasy. They even let us switch our site to one we liked better upon arrival. - Fantastic club house with free coffee and breakfast on Saturday mornings - Convenient location to ski mountains, downtown Truckee and Camp 1 gym - Great little on-site gym with 24/7 access - Beautiful, giant pines throughout the park Cons: - Bathrooms weren’t the cleanest…mostly just people tracking in mud and snow from outside - Sites are pretty close together so selecting your site carefully is key - Clubhouse closes at around 4:30pm daily…wished it would have stayed open later

We know campgrounds and this is not one. Unfortunately, with local campgrounds closed due to recent fires (Sugar Pine Point, Tahoe Donner) this is sadly the only game in town. Tahoe residents for many years, we had heard a new owner took over a couple of years. With a $100 charge for Saturday night, we thought all would be great. Wrong. I could literally share a brew with the trailer next to me by simply handing it out the window. Do not sleep with your windows open, especially if one snores (he has since moved on). This is much too close for comfort and will not be returning. Two bathrooms (one stall/one shower each) is a negative. You will be placed in a 'buddy site' whether you know the neighbors or not. Request to NOT be placed in the center aisle, and you'll be ok. Laundry room is nice, credit card or app only. If you're visiting the North Lake Tahoe region, the location is fabulous (minus freeway drone day/night). The goal here for Roberts Resorts is to turn Coachland into a tiny home experience. Model home already dropped in. I would assume this will someday not exist as a campground. Enter forewarned.

36’ Class A with extra vehicle (not towed). Space was good in both length and width. We were able to extend slides on both sides, as well as the awnings, without encroaching on the neighbors on either side. Friendly, helpful staff. Showers, bathrooms, and laundry room (washers/dryers) well maintained and clean. Huge dog park. The location is great - a couple of miles to town, close to Donner Lake and North Lake Tahoe. Reno is about a 30 minute drive. We were there with three other families in various sites - all were happy with their stays. During our stay (June 23-27) Wifi was only available around the office, but we used a hotspot for the kids. Verizon had a very strong cell signal. Oh, almost forgot, when we checked in we were told on Saturday mornings the park provides free breakfast, but we forgot 😬 We will stay here again.

This used to be a family-run park and it shows. Everything kinda works but it's a little shabby. However it's been taken over by a conglomerate (nothing against them) and the prices have gone up, the maintenance hasn't been improved and the staff are absent. They ride around on noisy gas maintenance vehicles all day and don't pay attention to the park. For example, we had a neighbor with aggressive dogs that they left out on their trailer balcony all day, barking at everyone. In a well-run park the aggressive dogs wouldn't have been allowed in and if they were barking like that, it would have been taken care of. Sadly, this park is probably going to be best for the class C rental crowd and not the charming park it once was. RE noise, the highway noise from 80 isn't bad, the planes taking off from Truckee airport are louder, IMHO. But it's only during the daytime. The wifi internet is really bad- you definitely need to bring your own cell service. Thankfully Verizon has three bars of 5G so I could work fine.

Campandium reviews said the fee was $40. That's reasonable. We looked at other reviews and saw lots of inconsistencies. .. Wifi doesn't work, bathrooms closed because of covid. And no RVs older than 10 years. What, you're gonna check my registration? (Besides, our full-functional 2000 Roadtrek works just fine, thanks) But okay, maybe the reviews weren't accurate. We called and the woman said, let me check the "dynamic pricing" schedule. Here it is.. . $87.72, plus tax. Geez... And someone paid $40... Well, flip you, we'll stay at the nearby Forest Service campground for $10 with our golden pass.

Great location for visiting Truckee and Lake Tahoe. Walking path right outside campground. Only downside is the sap…it’s all over the roof of our rig.

Stayed here a few nights in March 2021. After checking in I realized that the bathrooms were closed “due to covid” even though there were literally NO restrictions on bathrooms being open for Their county at the time- so I searched high and low on their website to see if I had missed that detail but they didn’t mention it anywhere. They did make sure to note that “any missing amenities would not warrant a refund of any kind” so that’s lovely. Spots are close together but we hardly saw anyone outside of their campers. They also have a “strict rule” of only certified RVs 10 years old or newer, yet they had tons of fancy sprinter conversions and also had several RVs and truck campers that were well over 10 years old. The last morning we were there the bathrooms were supposed to open, yet they didn’t open “because they needed a deep cleaning because of covid”- after sitting empty for a year? Ok. And when my husband went to mention it to management and try to figure out how that made sense, she became extremely rude and snapped with “well you shouldn’t be here anyway” referring to our 9 year old fully renovated bus conversion that IS registered and insured as an RV and is in much better shape than many of the RVs in there. Wouldn’t recommend it if you can find any other spots. Oh, they also claim to provide WiFi but that was a joke. We were close to the office and still couldn’t even load a page.
