Stayed here overnight in our Revel van on a trip from SLC to Crater Lake. It was just what we needed for a good nights sleep after a long day of driving and before heading up to the crater. Yes its basically a parking area but it does have a lot of space. We pulled in late at night, parked close to the bathrooms and picnic table. Its just below 5,000 feet and since it was still March it was cold with some snow on the ground. Pit toilets were clean, it was very quiet, with only a little road noise the following morning. Super close to the road made for easy access and departure.

Two very large paved areas separated by pine trees. VERY clean vault toilet. One picnic table. It's just off highway 140 and there is a bit of noise from traffic, but it was pretty quiet by 8 pm. Lots of room for any size rig. Could probably even pitch a tent in the pine trees. Snopark pass is required Nov-April. We are low tech but had adequate cell service with US Cellular.

Stayed in September 2021 and less than a half mile off of HWY140. Follow the signs for Camas Sno-Park and drive all the way to either the lower lot or upper lot. The upper lot has two vaulted toilets and a picnic table. Area is primarily used as a base camp for ski/snow activities. Completely paved and no permit required during summer/spring/fall seasons!!

Sno-park is basically a parking lot for snowmobilers to unload and load their trailers. A couple of picnic tables and a vault toilet are the only facilities. Paved, but I couldn.t find a spot to level out. Just yards from Rt. 140, but it's not a busy road at all, so it's very quiet, and the stars are amazing. Great verizon. You need a permit to stay here from Nov. 1 to May 1.
