Avoid staying here at all costs. My electricity gave out on a Sunday at 2 in the morning due to a fault in the pole. This wasn't a one-time incident, the electricity had been problematic throughout my stay until it finally failed completely. Two employees were present, an elderly man who claimed he could rectify the issue but refused to, stating he needed to supervise the younger employee. Despite their store being typically deserted, particularly on Sundays, and the repair only requiring a quarter of an hour. Thankfully, another guest lent me their power. The older employee's behavior and incompetence are utterly deplorable. It's completely unjustifiable to neglect a paying customer's needs. The elderly employee is an intolerable individual. I strongly advise against staying here.

Didn’t have a chance to unhitch the trailer when a gentleman about 5’ kindly guided us to our campsite. He told me the way to back into the site and when I did not follow the instructions he snapped. He said why are you not Fu&$@king listening to me and why did you have your wife get out of the vehicle. I dismounted the rig and told him where to go and lye in a ditch. He backed down and marched towards the office and said he is going to get his boss. Do not stay here other reviews mention this guy as Kevin but not sure if that is his name. If the managers/owners hire this type of help that says a lot about their values towards customers. Screw this dump there are better places to stay in the area.

This will not go down as one of the most beautiful or spacious parks I’ve seen. Many of the spaces are very close together, as was ours. There appear to be a lot of full timers, and many of those sites were not eye pleasing, for all that matters. However there are three separate ways in this in which this campground elevates itself from a three star to a solid four star review. First, all the campground people we dealt with, from the last minute call from the road to in person interactions, to host Don, were superb, based on their friendliness and accommodating nature. Second, the laundry room and bathrooms were very clean and well-maintained. But the most impressive thing to me about this campground is proximity to a great trail, the willow lake loop trail. I have a special place in my heart for campgrounds where I can walk directly from my camper onto a trail, and a memorable one at that. This one delivered. Although it took me three hours to make the six mile loop and is moderate on the whole, with a fair amount of elevation and climbing on rocks if you go in one direction, it was a wonderful hike and one I highly recommend. If you just want to do the easy, level part through fields, start at the boat ramp and go in a counterclockwise direction until it ascends to the rocks, then turn back. For a more challenging, beautiful and fun hike, while facing the lake, go counterclockwise from the boat ramp into the rocks. Have fun finding and following the well marked trail by looking for white paint marks on the rocks. I did the entire loop. In over three months on the road, this was the best trail from a campground that I have found. I also feel like we shortchanged Prescott, which looks like a cool place to hang out. We just used it as an overnight and to that extent for $40 I had water, sewer and electric. Can’t argue with that! This is a solid overnight choice and could merit an even longer visit, but there are lots of other campgrounds in the area and I can’t compare this to them. That’s why we have and love Campendium!!

We stayed here 14-16 May. Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful. Some spaces were very wide and accomadating, however ours was tight then they put a very small travel trailer in the next space. There was maybe 10-12 feet between our front door and his back bumper. The one highlight of this park is the adjacent park and zoo. There are many miles of hiking/bking trails.

Nice, friendly staff. Our lot did not have shade, but a lot did. Lots of HOT water, very clean bathrooms and clean free showers!

We love Prescott and decided to spend 2 weeks here at the start of our full time RV adventure. Everything was great. Super quiet campground, well shaded and peaceful. Spaces are large (25 especially!). Lots of full timers. Great laundry facilities. All employees were super friendly. Location is perfect. Near Riddle, 15 min drive to Whiskey Row and almost in the Dells. You can't beat being able to walk right out to the Dells for a hike. Would absolutely return.

We chose this park because it is 3 miles from my Aunt and Uncle's home and a short walk to Willow Lake. We made reservations coming from Lake Havasu City and were surprised when we arrived and were told that our reservation had been errantly discarded. But the management worked it out and offered us a choice of two spaces for our large toy hauler. We picked the one that looked adequate. We pulled into the site which had low hanging branches that my we trimmed once we got set up. The land was much more sloping that we had first realized and when we deployed the auto leveling jacks our passenger side tires were completely off the ground and we had to shore them up with boards. Also, our bottom step was about two feet off the ground even with our portable step. We had plenty of space on the driver side but we were in a buddy site and had a bus conversion parked facing us and I felt like we were in their space the whole time. The facilities were good, a large clean laundry room that we used, showers, a camp store. The hiking trails from the campground to the nearby Granite Dells and Willow Lake were awesome and we really enjoyed hiking them with our dogs. We loved that it was close to town, yet still had a country setting. For the most part, it was quiet, although there seemed to be a lot of people driving through the park. That may have been because of the permanent residents in the park. The wifi was weak and the cell signal was weaker which created challenges for working online. Verizon was okay and ATT and horrible. The staff was nice and they had a super sweet camp kitty named Karma that was a delight!

Gravel and dirt lots, fairly level. Mostly "buddy" sites. Huge laundry room. Showers clean. They need to keep bushes/trees trimmed for larger rvs with slides. We were squished in and guy came to cut bushes back but still didn't fit so had to move. Wifi sketchy. Cable with box they provide. Near Willow Lake so with all of the rains they've had, lots of mosquitoes. Up the road from zoo and park. Grocery store and restaurants just up the street. Not many rv parks in area with hookups.

This park is great for a nature lover, situated just off the banks of Willow Lake with convenient access to trails that will lead you into the Granite Dells area. The sites are primarily shaded and most come with a picnic table and a grill. There is a little store that sells all of the essentials: beers, cigarettes, toiletries and some simple foodstuffs. A huge laundromat and ample shower stalls are a nice touch, and there is enough space between sites so that you can kick your feet out without worrying about knocking over someone else’s awning. The park has all dirt roads and really feels like you’re in the forest, doing some real camping (even if you are in a portable home). A lot of reviews online state RVers distaste for this park because of the longterm element who live here, and there do seem to be quite a few people living here full-time, and they are the type who have long beards, leather vests and ride old Harleys. Personally, I don’t find that offputting, but less open-minded campers might prefer to avoid these types. I did a thorough test of the air quality though and found absolutely no cooties. Might I suggest to those folks that they try the Super 8 Motel down the street? We would have loved to have stayed longer at this park and much preferred it to the funeral home that is Pine Lawn Ranch, but unfortunately we had to work and we could neither get cell phone reception or WiFi in the park, so despite it’s charms and the fact that it’s one of Arizona’s few parks where they don’t mind the sound of a beer bottle opening or children laughing, we moved on after only staying a single night.
