Over the past couple of years, I've spent a cumulative two months at this location. Regardless of the nature of your telephone inquiry, the response is invariably impolite. The environment isn't hazardous, but it's a stony path frequently littered with dog feces. My visits here are infrequent and sporadic.

We reached our destination around noon and had no trouble settling in. The host was direct and no-nonsense, not particularly warm but certainly not impolite. Managed to get some washing done in an old but spotless facility, visited the immaculately maintained pool on two occasions, and found the children's play area to be excellent. Our site was adjacent to a beautiful green area and a small pond, home to fish, lizards, and crayfish, which thoroughly entertained my eight-year-old. Despite the presence of numerous permanent residents, all of our interactions were pleasant. We wouldn't hesitate to return to this location.

This is one of two RV parks in Vacaville off Midway. It is large park with many long-term residents. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Sites are decent, level and graveled, with full hook-up. Privacy and space, depends on location in park. Our neighbor didn’t have space for fifth-wheel and truck, so he parked on half-way on our picnic patio. The staff are continually working to keep the park well-maintained, including the showers, laundry room and pool. Back of the park houses a large, fenced dog run. Free morning alarm services comes by way of neighboring donkeys and peacocks.

An older park, close to anything you could need just a few miles away. The park could use some TLC, just looks like they have a limited budget to keep up with tasks, quite a few long term rv's here. Staff was nice, and everything worked. Not flashy, but not trashy either, just a basic park

This is an older park with lots of mature trees. It is a bit run down, but overall we enjoyed it more than your standard park. There are wild chickens roaming the park, which is part of the charm.

A mix of permanent residents and short stays. Huge park. But fairly well kept. Restrooms were clean and WiFi worked well.

We stayed here over the weekend because my wife had a golf tournament in Fairfield on Saturday. We stayed on a weekend that turned out to be on the warmer side for the time of the year. There are numerous sites with mature trees for shade but it still was warm enough to push our AC to the max. The site facilities, especially the restroom, showers, and pool were very clean and well maintained. Overall, the majority of the park is on the older side but a recent new section was opened which is about a 3rd of the overall part. Since that park is somewhat new, the facilities are new but shade and greenery is sparse. The older parts of the park are well shaded. There seemed to be a lot of long term campers there but there were still ample sites available. Not bad considering the conditions, and maintenance of the facilities and the closeness to areas of the Bay Area, Sacramento and other places to visit and dine.

Our first visit, we requested a back-in in the new section (which I later understood is actually for long term stay). First thing I noted was that the direction they suggested we approach our site from was the opposite of the direction you should to angle in. This is because there is a specific direction of travel recommended. You enter the park on the north & exit on the south. This new area of the park is virtually all gravel with with a few areas of grass. Recently planted trees. Not unattractive, reminiscent of the nicest west Texas parks. (The surrounding country roads reminded us of inland coastal Alabama.) Satellite TV reception was unobstructed. This a big RV park. Different areas definitely have different environments. The opposite side of the park was more attractive, more country like. One of the things that hurts the park is that there are a very large number of long term guests (I have no problem with that) but too many of the sites show a lack of pride of ownership. Unfortunately the majority of them are along the routes used to navigate the park. During this first visit, we reserved a pull thru in a different section for a few weeks later. That turned out to be when N Cal was experiencing very heavy rains. Upon arrival we requested that we be allowed another back-in site in the new area. We were graciously accommodated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Vineyard RV. The country setting so close to the Bay Area is makes this facility a solid choice east of S.F.

With family in the area, this was our third visit in the last year. Our back in-site was in the older section right across from the office. Hook-ups were at the very back of the site requiring 2 links of fresh water hoses & 2 links of sewer hose. The site was level gravel. Neighbors were so close that none of us could fully extend our awnings, but awnings on these newer fivers often extend out quite a ways. We made 3 phone calls before finding an employee who could find us a site for our entire 5 day visit. (This also happened with our neighbor. They were told things change due to cancellations.). In our previous 2 visits we were lucky enough to get into the newer long term section. It’s much nicer. (The grapevines along the back of the site were quite nice, however.). Given the parks location to the Bay Area, we were quite pleased even with this less desirable site. It was quite & safe. That’s primarily what we are looking for.

I feel like I’m writing a review for a different place than some of the other reviews I see. This place is great. We have been on the road since Oct and we are getting a pretty good idea of what to expect when we book a RV Park versus Campground. Most RV Parks appear to always be tight together versus the space a campground gives. Yeah, thing we’re close, but not so close that you can’t open your slide outs and awning and still leave another 6 feet. Actually able to park my truck next to the camper. This place is huge with over 400 sites. Paved roads, 2 pools that are very clean and decent sizes. Cable TV with over 50 channels which is great since the WiFi and phone service is week if you like to stream. It’s very clean, plenty of trash containers spread about the park. Close to the highway and only about 1 1/4 from SF and 30 min from Sacramento. The price could be a little lower.

Most sites are long term and appear to be families and workers rather than retired folk. Short term area has gravel pull throughs with trees and easy access to the office and pool. Laundry worked well but only half as many dryers as washers so got backed up. Park is very busy with people coming and going constantly and RVs are permitted to arrive any time. We had to endure trucks idling and doors slamming at 2am one night. San Francisco is 90-120 min away and Sacramento about 45. Any store you could want nearby. WiFi pretty wimpy.

Overall good place. Kept nicely, people are nice, lots of amenities. You need quarters for the laundry it's not electronic. Good cell service for Verizon and AT&T. They do not have any special events or activities. Make sure you read all the rules. They will write you up for everything. Also another downside it's it's extremely expensive!! Nice location for Napa and Sacramento area.

We were looking for a campground for a week as we were moving my son from CO to Dixon, CA. This is off of I-80 about 5 minutes and 505 is only a couple of minutes the other direction. This provides easy on and off to get to bigger cities. It is really clean, there are a lot of trees, pools, and a very impressive dog park. We will make it our go-to location when visiting our son from now on. In speaking to some of the permanent people-there aren’t many short term spots so the weekends (esp during non covid times) will be hard to get. There are sites less than what we spent for the week but when we compared the spots, we upgraded. The office wasn’t open to the public but on the phone, the staff was helpful and accommodating.

Our son & his family are currently staying here - as are many other long term visitors - many of them utility workers repairing damage done by recent fires. Over the last couple of years this park has really changed. Most interior roads are now paved. Lots of new sites have been added. The park is an interesting mix of old & new. We’ve stayed in what was the newest section, but next visit wasn’t! We’ve stayed in what was, and still is the old. Pros & cons to the various areas but I’d willingly stay at any again. If you have to be close to sf . . .

Spent a nice quiet evening here on our way along I80. Got one of their premium pull-through sites. Nice well kept park. Flat spot, easy hookups and nice landscaping. Not too far off I80, but far enough so there’s no traffic sounds.

I stayed here one night while traveling on I-80. We were able to call to check for availability for the same night. The staff was accommodating of our late arrival, and the site we were assigned was very close to the entrance and easy to access. The site was gravel and dirt, mostly level from left to right. It seemed like there was a mixture of travelers and long-term occupants in the park. I didn’t use any of the facilities. Power, water, and sewer worked as expected.

Stayed 2 different times. Sites fairly level, but it’s tight between sites. Looks like a newer section provides a little more space. Pools looked clean, maintained. Used the laundry rooms and those worked well. Staff friendly. Showers were okay. Quiet community and many people appeared to be there long term. Still, decent place to stay and easy access to outlets and other areas in Vacaville and Fairfield. I think we had good Verizon and At&t cell coverage, too.

All gravel. Tiny concrete pad for picnic table. A wee grass patch is only for “premium” sites and that’s laughable. Nasty restrooms and showers. Two small pools, un helpful staff. Would not stay here again.

We are full-timers in a 36 ft Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow. We were in site 61, a “Premium” Pull-through site, for 3 days in early October, while visiting family in the area. This is probably the most critical review of a CG that we have posted in the 2 years we’ve be full-timing and for $76/night (with discount), I would expect much, much more from a CG. The staff at checkin were very friendly, but we didn’t see anyone patrolling the CG while we were there. It was fairly quiet when we arrived during the week, but got a little raucous on the weekend and I-505 road noise is fairly noticeable at night. The CG is “clean” and otherwise quiet, but showing its age a bit. The two pools looked pretty decent, but we didn’t use them. All of the sites are fairly short and very close. Bigger rig tow vehicles either extend into or are parked partially on the roads through the CG, although the roads are fairly wide throughout. The CG consists mostly permanent/semi-permanent residences. Most of those sites are are all gravel. There appeared to only be a few transient spaces, maybe 12-15, which were also short, but with grass, tables and foliage between sites. There are no green spaces to walk your dog. Everything that isn’t paved or graveled is basically bare dirt or tall, dead weeds, except the playground and one other area, and neither of those areas allow dogs. You are pretty much relegated to walking the CG roads or using the “off-leash” area, which is a fenced in treed area but is also just bare dirt and clearly not everyone cleans up after their dogs. They have signs for a Pet Walk, but this is just a very short walk on more dirt. The ponds on the map are fenced off and are either muddy brown or algae green pits with fountains - not very aesthetically appealing. AT&T coverage was just ok, with 2 bars of LTE and speeds up to 0.8 MB/s. The CG WiFi through TengoInternet.com is bit wanky, only allowing 3 connected devices and requiring a Browser to connect, so devices without one (Apple TV, WiFi router, etc.) are out of luck. Their website had a link to a page that was supposed to tell you how to connect them, but resulted in a 404 page not found error. We saw speeds up to 1 MB/s., but much less when everyone is online. Disconnecting WiFi and reconnecting seemed to help some. We were able to get DISH coverage on all three western satellites at our site. There were 35 OTA channels to be had with our fixed omni antenna. We would not stay here again.
