The campground offered a 50% discount for senior passes, reducing the cost to $15. The location was conveniently close to the visitors' center, which was beneficial as the parking area was heavily congested. This allowed for easy access to the shuttle service leading to various trailheads. Despite being a quiet campground, it was quite popular and spots filled up rapidly. Even though we reached there by 1 PM, we were left with only a handful of choices due to the high demand.

We camped here in early May when sites were only available first come first serve. We were concerned about getting a campsite so arrived at 8:30 am on a Thursday. Turned out numerous sites were available. We selected a very spacious drive through site which was not far from the restrooms and had good shade. The campground is very central to all the park amenities and sites and not far from the Town of Bryce. We very much enjoyed this campground.

We camped here in April 2021 and again in April 2022. You can't beat location-- short walk to the rim combined with cell service sufficient for video conference (with an external antenna) both with T-Mobile and Verizon. In 2021 loop B (our preferred loop for a 20' camper) was open April 5. In 2022 loop was supposedly "opening soon" and not open yet on April 8. FCFS both times. We arrived around 10:30am on a Sunday in early April and there were 10 sites or so to chose from. A loop sites aren't private yet there is certainly sufficient space between sites. Bathrooms are fine. Dishwashing sink is fine. No showers. Dump station not open in early April 2022. Walk to rim and fairyland loop. Walk to visitor center.

Open year round, first come first served. Only loop A is open year round, about 20 sites, asphault. No water or dump, just gorgeous scenery almost to yourself.

I travelled here with a 35’ 5th wheel, long bed pickup and parked in site #11, a dry PT site for $15/night with the Senior pass. This is a nice FCFS campground with several loops. Only A loop can fit larger rigs so you have to be there early to snag a spot. In addition, there were only a handful that my rig could fit into. Roads and sites were asphalt and it was easy to navigate around. #11 is a crescent shaped pull through that I actually backed into due to the small radius of the crescent. Most sites have some kind of slope to them, but it wasn’t hard to get level in this one although my front jacks were almost fully extended. Very roomy sites, nice bathrooms, clean and warm. Had enough clear space overhead for my solar panels to keep the batteries topped off. NPS keeps the trees trimmed and while I was there they had a crew in to drop a few tall trees that were sickly. Access to the park is unmatched as you can easily walk to the visitor’s center to grab a shuttle. I would definitely stay here again. If you can’t get into Bryce, Kodachrome Basin State Park is not far away and has great hiking, a beautiful campground and one of the nicest bathhouses/laundry facilities I've ever seen in a campground.

A loop is plowed for winter. Sites were a bit icy but it was not an issue. Sites are nestled under pines. From the campground you can access the rim trip through loop C and hike the fairyland loop or over to sunrise point. Clean, warm bathrooms with hot water and dish washing station. Water at sites was even on which was surprising since it was zero degrees. Lots of tent campers. Was very busy on the weekend so I recommend pulling in and choosing site before heading out on the park road.

It is great to be staying within the Bryce Canyon National Park. I got the lifetime retired National Park pass rate. Demand is way down this time of year and the first come first served spots were plentiful when I arrived midday. Management closed the other RV campgrounds but left this one open for the off season. No hookups but I’m fine on my batteries and my fresh water tank. Bathroom is new and very clean. My spot is paved but not exactly level. Setting is spacious and amongst many tall pine trees. The nighttime sky is a star gazer’s delight. No interstate engine braking and no middle of the night freight trains. This is a wonderful place to park your RV for the night.

Asphalt parking area; B loop has tiered site with table and fire ring above or below area for RV. Very clean and steps make it easy to enjoy site. Some shade, pine forest.

37 feet pulling a 10 foot trailer. This is a first come first served campsite. I arrived at 8:45 am and did a circle. Another big motorhome owner stopped me and said he was leaving so I got a site right away. I leveled up no problem and fitbit without having to take off the trailer. Many sites are not very level but there are many that suit big rigs.

I arrived at 10:30am on a Thursday and got one of the last sites. Friday was less pressure with the last site being taken around 2pm. Be sure to drive-thru regardless of the "campground full" sign. Hosts are not attentive to updating the sign. RV dump station is still closed for winter. Ruby's and the Sinclair gas station are close and offer the service for $$.

We stayed here in early April. This is a first come first serve campground. We knew to get here early to find a spot. We rolled in about 830 on a weekday and immediately found a great level spot in Loop A. There were a few spots available at that time. During our time here only Loops A&B were open, C&D were not. A is the closest to the free shuttle, visitor center and main road. D would be the closest to the General Store, Valhalla Pizza and showers. Be aware, a lot of the spots are not level at all. Many RV spots looked like Legoland with all the blocks they put out. We were in 29 which was quite level. Bathrooms have flush toilets, no soap, but hot water, there is a separate hot water dish cleaning station. The dumpsters are limited and out by the camp entrance and a bit of a walk. The campground is a good place to have a bike to get to the showers and dumpsters. There’s also amazing paved bike trails running for miles, including down to Red Canyon. Bryce is around 7500’ elevation. It’s below freezing here 230 days a year. While we were here it’s been in the 20’s in the morning and 50’s in the afternoon. Plenty of sunshine for our solar though.

Beautiful campground nestled in a pine forest near the canyon rim. Close to visitor center and Bryce Canyon village which has a very well stocked general store, gift shop, restaurant and hotel.

This was an interesting campground stay. I had worked as a seasonal ranger at Bryce Canyon in the late 1970s and had spent a good deal of time in the campground but not as a camper. Our stay in May 2018 was just before a major campground renovation project started. At that time the paved roads looked like they dated to the 1970's or earlier. I am sure it is better now. We arrived early (9AM) and there were many open sites (no reservations that year). It was a little confusing because the sign for the A & B loops stated they were for RVs over 20'. At the time our rig was a pickup camper just under 18' so we selected a site in loop C designated for tent campers. The campground host came by to let us know we'd need to move to the B loop. We found a really nice drive through site there just a short walk from one of the newer bathrooms. These were some the best campground bathrooms I've ever been in with an enclosed utility sink with hot water. It was actually easier to take out dirty dishes to the utility sink than do them in the camper. The North Campground is within easy walking distance to the Visitor Center, shuttle stops, bike path, camper store, showers and best of all the canyon and all of its trails. After setting up camp the only reason to drive again is if you want to get to the southern most view points. The shuttle goes every where else you might want to go. Bryce Canyon is great so many people visit it. Be prepared for lots of people. Try the off season if you can. Be patience and kind. Use the shuttle as much as possible and enjoy the views.
