Tocumwal
On the bank of the Murray River. Large beach site with choice of camping along the beach or under trees. Tourist town, can be very busy in the summer months. A large site, camping and caravans, on the river first in best dressed.
Mount Dutton Bay
Camping right on Dutton Bay. Great spot for the fisherman, swimmer or just when you want to be near the water. You can camp right on the waters edge of this magnificent bay. Close to Farm Beach. There are a few fire rings (bring your own firewood).

Alma
On the banks of the Forth River, this well shaded campsite has plenty of room to park a caravan, yet enough seclusion to pitch a tent in privacy. There are "long drop" toilets on the other side of the creek, which could be interesting if there has been some rain and the river is flowing.
Northhead
Basic Campground, right on the beach and the Moruya River mouth. Amazing spot for fishing, beach bumming or just spending a lazy day. Although it is near the airport (very infrequently used) this is a very quiet and peaceful spot. Showers and flushing toilets.
Pleasant, extended river flats well shaded by Peppermint, Manna Gum, Blackwood & wattle. More shrubs and vegetation than other Howqua Hills HA sites. Semi-dispersed grassed (short) clearings. Surrounded by the forested foothills of the alps. Features Pickerings Hut (private).
A pleasant, spacious, grassed, level woodland area near Middle Creek. Reasonable shade from Manna Gums, River Red Gums and wattles. Backed by forested hills and Mt Cole, facing some farm paddocks. Sites are well spaced with vegetation between.
Paling Yards
This is one of the more popular campsites in the Abercrombie River National Park as it is accessible with a 2wd vehicle. The sites are grassy, mostly level, surrounded by bush, but don't have a lot of shade.

Geeveston
This picnic and camping area next to the Arve River is amongst the forest and ferns and a stones throw from the water. This campsite would make an excellent base for exploring the Arve River and surrounding forests.
Narrabarba
Free overnight camping on the edge of the Princess Highway in a rest area. Suitable for a quick overnight on the way through. The area is surprisingly pleasant, apart from the road noise. There is easy access for vans and a turn around area.
Bung Bong
Gravel rest area with no facilities suitable for an overnighter on your way throughThe areas is level and large with plenty of room for large vans and some shade. AccessThis site is accessable by caravans in good weather.
Basic Bush Camp alongside a rocky gully with pit toilets and barbecues. Located in the North West Region of NSW, nearest town Bingara. The camp area is small and gravel, and really only suitable for small vans due to limited space.

Maryvale
This is a basic, but large and grassy, campground on the banks of the MacQuarie River, near Dubbo. The campground itself is moderately sloping and fairly open, although there are a couple of larger trees near the edges for shade.
Canunda
The Kotgee camping area is a lovely sheltered coastal site with lovingly cleared sites, for tents or vehicles. The site has just reopened after 12 months of maintenance and improvements. The new toilet block is clean and the site is being re-vegetated with natives.
Wingan River
A very quiet forested camp near a lovely beach. Situated in tall forest 500m from a small cove and behind a rocky, heath covered headland. Specific sites are reasonably separated by bush. Good shade from tall Silvertop Ash and Red bloodwood with a thin understory of melaleuca and scrub.
An attractive secluded gully surrounded by steep forested hills looking out on rolling farmland. The pleasant grassed clearing is shaded by Yellow Gum, Yellow Box and wattles, backed by Stringybark Messmate and Red Ironbark with little understory on the rocky slopes.
Basic bush camping on the edge of the Murrumbidgee River. There are no facilities here, however there are basic long drop toilets a few hundred metres away at the Bird Cage Rest Area. There is plenty of shady spots, however can be a dusty spot, especially in summer.
