Visit beautiful Salt Lake City, rich with history! Easy access to freeways with full hookup pull through sites with free wi-fi and cable. Fabulous location to trace your family tree, hear the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, see the world
If it wasn’t 7pm, and prepaid, we would have kept on going. Boarded up buildings and homeless people circle the property.

Huge RV lot very near downtown. Clean and good checkin. Unfortunately, most services were not available while still being charged full price. This is the first location that has limited services so much under the claim of covid. And albeit in a State that has fairly lax restrictions compared to California which had very little limited services at other KOA's and RV parks. No laundry, no public restrooms, no public showers and no pool or hot tub. Star rating is solely due to lack of services and full price. The adjacent neighborhood is pretty sketchy.

Stayed here for just a night. My setup was going to be a couple feet too long for the end spots and ultimately had to pay about $10 for for a bigger spot. Not a big deal. I feel that the price is too high overall especially since a lot of amenities are still closed due to Covid. Noisy neighborhoods surrounding the resort.

There's not many places to stay near downtown Salt Lake City, and the KOA was great! We enjoyed exploring Temple Square, City Creek Shopping Center, and swimming in the pool.

If you're looking for an RV park that's relatively easy to access from the highway, with clean sites and walking trails right out your door, the Salt Lake City KOA is a good choice. If budget matters or if you're seeking to dodge the crowds, though, you might want to look outside the city for another option. The facilities are clean and decent, and the grass between the sites is the kind that makes you want to be five again so you can roll around in it. The walking trail goes from the back of the park to the Jordan River and state fairgrounds. The staff were helpful and never bothersome, although the campsite adheres to the usual strict KOA rules.
