About Herb Cottage

The Herb Cottage can be found in on the lower slopes of the mountain in Magoebaskloof on a farm abundant in avocados. Offering different options of accommodation on the farm and welcome you to come and enjoy the surrounding beauty with us.
The Herb Cottage is the main accommodation on the farm and has space for four or five people.
Two bedrooms are furnished with Queen-size beds, have en-suite bathrooms and open onto the patio with the pool and garden view. The third bedroom has two three-quarter beds and an en-suite bathroom. This room is wheelchair friendly.
There is a sitting area and and well equipped kitchen.
The cottage has its own swimming pool and braai facilities. Here you can enjoy a lovely walk along the river.
The farm grows avocados, macadamias and herbs and is surrounded by indigenous forest, disappearing up the mountainsides into the mist. You can walk around and explore the area or visit the Glass Art Studio which is centrally located at the workshop.
It is not recommended to bring a car with low profile tyres on our 2.5 km stretch of dirt road, but normal sedans will manage easily.
