The location of the camping area is excellent, situated directly opposite the beach. The town doesn't offer much in terms of dining options, though there are a few local seafood joints. My single gripe is that we made a reservation for a superior beachfront spot a year prior. A month before our trip, I called to ensure our beachfront spot was still reserved. They said that the specific spots aren't allocated until arrival, but assured me it was a beachfront one. Upon reaching, I was allotted a spot four places away from the beachfront. When I questioned this, I was informed that the beachfront was already booked and no spots are guaranteed. According to their website, the first two spots are superior ones, while the rest are premium. So now, I'm in a premium spot but being billed for a superior beachfront one. When I asked for a refund for the price difference, they declined to refund the $5 per night.

Our family spent the new year at this rv park and loved it. The pool was great. We used laundry and shower facilities as well. Quiet and clean. We will definitely return.

Spotless grounds, bathhouses, laundry. Beautiful beach across st. Much nicer than "other" RV park a few miles east. WW2 museum next door is a must!

We stayed here over the weekend to attend the seafood festival. It’s a very nice resort style campground. We came in the fall so it was a little too chilly to use the pool. We did get to walk on the beach across the road which was nice. We loved it and will return in the summer.

We found this place looking for a campground somewhere in the panhandle to camp after coming down from the mountains of Georgia. There is a lot to like about Carrabelle RV Resort. It is beautifully kept, the sites are large and wide and paved. The pool (saltwater) is a great break from the sound/gulf. Bathhouses are clean and well kept. There is a playground for the kids and is just a pretty quiet overall RV park. St George’s Island is about 20 minutes away which provides a bunch of little shops and restaurants as well as waves for the kids to boogie board. Apalachicola is about 25 minutes away and is full of fun shops and some restaurants. The main negative about the resort is the WiFi. It is “available” but incredibly weak. There is cable tv with about 32 channels which is nice. Cell service was available was it was one bar with AT&T 5G. I would definitely stay here again, I just hope they can improve their WiFi signal for important work meetings.

This is a nice RV resort. Just across the street from from a park and beach access. Site 20 is great, I could see the water from the dinette. Bikeable to a nice downtown area. This is worth the price for a very nice clean park right on the beach.

This park is very well-maintained, the office/store is well stocked, including ice and beer/wine. The pool looks nice, but it was a little cool to get in. The best part of this park is that while it's across the street from the beach, it was only 100 yards from our site. The wifi was pretty bad and the cell service with t-mobile for data was pretty limited.

Full hook-up was great, the park is pretty packed in but extremely well maintained, all roads and sites are paved and landscaped. There was a very nice beach right across the road, water was pleasant. The park has a very nice pool that we also used. We stayed here in order to visit Tallahassee, FL. The park is on the "Forgotten Coast". There is not a lot of dining out options, however we did get some very nice fresh shrimp at a local store and grilled them for dinner, nice. We are birders and there are a number of birding trails in the area. St George Island is the south side of the bay that the park is on. The island faces the Gulf of Mexico. The beaches are white sand that is almost powder like. There is a State Park on St. George Island that accommodates RVs, may want to consider staying there if we come back to this area.

This RV park's main selling point is that it's a great location to a wonderful sandy beach. You can walk right across the road to the beach and bonus, the beach is dog friendly (on leash). The landscaping was nice, and the staff kept things in perfect shape, but these are very tight spots. I would not want to have a 45ft rig in 1 of their pull in sites. The pull thrus would be fine for larger rigs. The sites were pretty slanted which I don't usually expect for a higher priced private park but we were able to get leveled. The laundry was really nice with 5 double sized front loaders and 5 double sized dryers. They are very new and in great condition. The price was also affordable for $1.50 per wash and $1.50 per dry. There's a fenced in dog run and lots of good walking areas for dogs. They have a good sized store and all of the buildings were in good condition and clean. The bathrooms and showers were excellent. Strong 50 amp with cable. Park Wifi was very slow to the point of not really being usable. We used our hotspots. Verizon was 5.5 d/l and ATT was 25 d/l unboosted. Didn't try T mobile. Grocery shopping was not great. There's a small IGA nearby which was overpriced and not much else. No Walmart. So stock up. For activities check out St George Island and Apalachicola is not to be missed. Great stores and restaurants and it's very quirky. The Oysters @ Hole in the Wall Oyster Bar were fantastic.

This is our first time staying at Carrabelle RV resort. It was very clean, nice staff, manicured grounds. There was always someone riding around picking up. The beach is across HWY 98, but was easy to cross. The sand was white. We saw lots of marine life including dolphins. It is not on the Gulf of Mexico. It is the sound, so the water was not clear, and there are no waves. But we took a short drive to St. George Island and went to the beach at the state park. Within walking or biking, is the Crooked River Lighthouse that is inexpensive to climb. The cable was nice with a lot of channels. Their Wi-Fi was free, but very slow. The sites were close together, but it was not bothersome. The only draw back we had was our site was right on the road (only about 40 feet) and it was very noisy at night with road noise. I would think if you picked a spot further in the campground, it would be a perfect stay without much noise.
