Absolute worst experience ever! Nice lake, but there are other and better places to stay nearby, so skip Annett's if you want to avoid unnecessary aggravation. We paid for two nights with full hookups only to discover that the electric at our site did not work due to faulty ground wire connection. Another RVer said electrical issues are an ongoing problem (circuit breakers tripping, etc.) An employee said the electrical issue would be fixed, but nobody showed up the first night (we were told their "electrician" was unavailable, so it would have to wait until the morning.) A general "maintenance" man showed up the next morning and spent a few hours trying to fix the wiring, but didn't know how, so he gave up. We asked for a refund, but were refused. They have a "no refunds" policy. They would not even compromise and reduce the fee to the non-hookup rate (we had not used electrical, water, or sewer), so we left. Later, tried to contact the owners of the park (Norm and Kellie Annett) by phone to seek an explanation and refund, but received no return call. Credit card company sought a partial refund (we were willing to pay the no-hook-up rate for the first night, but sought a full refund for the second (unstayed) night. Owners refused, falsely claiming that "all services were provided." No electrical outlet in women's restroom (it was taped over.) Campground layout is an absolute maze with hard to locate and cramped sites, particularly if you want a tent site. They don't accept reservations, but their "regulars" (who are there to spend the season fishing, not camping) somehow get their sites every year. Save yourself some heartache and money and choose a campground up the road, particularly the forest service campgrounds. You will be glad you did.

Beautiful place great location. It is big and crowded. Fishing and hiking are some of the best in the state.

While we we not looking for peace and quiet (my son wanted to fish so we came here…the fish were not biting but that’s another story) this is not a place to go to be alone. It was an interesting resort vibe where you could walk to get ice cream grab a lunch at the café and fish by the lake. The free-for-all layout with campsite numbers nailed to the sides of trees was interesting and you just pulled in between them. Bathrooms scattered around the campground but they were pretty dirty so we did not use them. Quarter showers. We were there the week after the Fourth of July and from my understanding it got pretty heavy use during that time. This is a generalization but it seemed like most people there had been coming there or year after year after year after year. WiFi was available only near the cafe but was very expensive. The camp fee of $25 plus $3 for each additional person was odd...check in takes a while...full hook ups avail but from my understanding rarely vacant. The area is beautiful but very busy. It was...interesting. Will we be back? Probably not.
