In general, this park lives up to its reputation for beauty. However, our experience was marred by a couple of unforeseen issues. The main problem was the inconvenient location of the electrical box, which was situated a considerable distance from the RV pad. It was nestled in a gravel area between the rows and had to be shared with the RV behind ours, making it quite a stretch to connect. If we hadn't brought our extension cord, we would have been unable to plug in. This detail was not mentioned anywhere, and not all RV owners carry extension cords, so it could have been a significant disappointment. Moreover, considering the high cost of the site, it would have been nice to have a picnic table included. There was also a deep, unmarked drainage ditch at the entrance that was so hazardous, a fellow camper felt compelled to warn us about it as we arrived.

During our journey towards Alberta, we decided to take a detour due to the fantastic weather conditions and explore Hurricane for a few days. To our surprise, we managed to secure an excellent location upon arrival. We plan to make this RV park a regular stop on our future trips. We're incredibly grateful.

Our trip to Hurricane and Zion was made more enjoyable due to our pleasant and convenient accommodation at Willow Wind. We easily parked our 38-foot fifth wheel in our designated spot with the help of a park employee. All the amenities, including cable TV and WiFi, functioned perfectly and offered fast and reliable service. Approximately a quarter of the RV Park's occupants are long-term residents. Pets are allowed and the park is well-maintained. The plentiful trees and grassy spots at most of the campsites create a cool and tranquil atmosphere. The location was exactly what we needed, being near Sand Hollow, Zion, OHV trails, bicycle paths, eateries, and shops. The staff at WillowWind were accommodating and extremely friendly.

Our stay at Willowwind was absolutely incredible, and we can't wait to return. Although this review is a bit delayed, we spent a significant amount of time there, from October 12th to November 9th, 2022. Throughout our stay, we were impressed by the cleanliness and upkeep of the park. Doug, one of the staff members, was always friendly and welcoming. We opted to use the resort showers instead of our own RV's, and we were pleased to find them consistently clean. We did laundry multiple times a week and found the facilities well-maintained. The resort's proximity to Zion, St. George, and various state parks and hiking trails was a great convenience. We frequently used the communal fire pit and pool table, both of which were inviting. We were fortunate to have a shady spot, though the weather was quite temperate. The resort's roads and parking areas were broad and paved. The staff's dedication to the resort was evident in its smooth operation. We didn't encounter any issues with Wi-Fi connectivity (we also had a pep-wave router), and our cell service was excellent. Our fellow guests were quiet and friendly.

This is such a nice place to stay when visiting Utah. Super clean, great staff. Greeted by Sydney who took us right to our site. Nice bathrooms with showers. Laundry too. No fires pits but propane fires okay. Right downtown with many stores and restaurants near by. Flat concrete pads and plenty of shade trees. About 25 mile from Zion. Only negative was that there was no picnic table.

We really enjoyed this location. Showers and Bathrooms were nice and clean and private one room situations. We got a super site that had grass which was great for our dog. They have laundry and a "Dog Wash" unless you have a small dog you can disregard that dog wash, its outside plastic basin that our border collie could have jumped right out of. The site was paved and easy to level. My only complaint was the "Super Site" area backed up to a highway and there were trucks coming and going all night and since our bedroom is at the back of the RV and this was a back in site we heard the trucks coming and going all night. Not Terrible but kind of annoying. All in all I would def stay here again even with the truck noise.

Please note, I did not end up staying here....so take my review with a grain of salt. I felt punished when I was told there was an $8 charge per kid under 10. It feels like a punishment. I went somewhere else that was just as nice for $50/night. This campground would have been over $70.

We stayed at Willow Wind for 2 months while using Hurricane as a home base to explore much of Southern Utah. The location is amazing! Grocery store across the street, walking distance to a coffee shop, and a WalMart just down the road. The park grounds are very well manicured. Excellent shade cover if you're visiting during the Summer. The staff were helpful and friendly. Beware of the sprinklers, they will soak your rig and patio furniture :) but that's how the grass is so green and the trees are so healthy- worth it! The Bucks ACE hardware next door sells plastic covers to protect your patio if needed. The only negative review we have for Willow Wind is that they don't allow USPS package/mail delivery. We tried to order a pair of shoes on Amazon and wasn't able to select the carrier, it came USPS and they turned it away at the front desk. As a full timer, it's frustrating to do an extended stay at an RV park and not be able to get mail. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!

We originally booked 2 days and then later added 2 more days. Unfortunately they could keep us in the same spot for all 4 days but moving was easy. The campground is well laid out with large paved spots in all areas. They seem to have a large number of longer term renters, I'm guessing snowbirds, in the park and they seem to be spaced out well throughout the park. It was very quite for being a pretty large campground. Staff was very friendly and helpful. In fact when I inquired about a car wash in the area for washing my fifth wheel the lady in the office called her husband to find out where he goes. Wifi was very good and fast in both spots. Definitely will stay here again.

This was our second night with our 21 foot travel trailer. We had never used the sewer hookup and were scared frankly after seeing the movie RV. LOL The park host was SO friendly and helpful explaining all sorts of important details and giving us RV tips. Our spot had a small lawn. The shower/bathroom was amazing. They were all completely private and super clean and close to our spot. Grocery store close by. They also have WiFi as a bonus.

We managed to snag the last RV back in spot for Labor Day wknd for our trip to Zion. This was our first RV campsite and the park couldn’t make a better impression. Friendly receptionist who made time to find us a spot and even gave us an 1 hour window to check with other RV parks in the area. Clean site, paved and even driveway, and hookups were easy to use. We did a late check in after 10 pm and they left an envelope out with all the information we needed. Only about a 35 min drive from Zion NP and the drive was pleasant. Large grocery store nearby and a lot of fast food restaurants.

One of the best RV parks I've stayed at. Great wifi, private clean showers, cable, shaded. Fantastic club house with a well taken care of and free pool table. Large fire pit, good laundry facilities and the machines work. Employees are fantastic. They maintain this park well and you can see the owner is committed to that. I just can't get accustomed to paying over 40 bucks a nite for any RV spot. With all of the costs of RV'ing- you've got to save where you can. So the monthly rate here is the only one I was interested in. It's a tad noisy in terms of employees doing maintenance but I think that is certainly acceptable given the quality of this park.

The listed daily rate reflects the monthly rate, as we booked the month, and left early. That was more cost-effective than booking the weekly rate. We were here for 3 weeks. It was quiet and MOST of the staff was friendly. We had a shaded site so even when the sun came out and would heat the day up, the RV stayed cool enough we usually didn’t have to leave the air conditioning running. My only complaint was that the sprinklers come on far too often (3-4 times A DAY) and every time they came on, they would get the entire patio soaked. Our sprinklers broke at one point and then it started to flood the site (like about an inch of water over the whole pad). When my wife tried to have this dealt with, the first time she apparently didn’t take me seriously. When she went back a second time, she talked to someone else, but the first girl shushed her since she was talking “too loud” and she was “on the phone”. She seemed to miss the point that my wife wouldn’t have been there at all if she had actually dealt with the problem. They did finally deal with it, but regardless, once the sprinklers come on, there was still no sitting outside. It’s good thing I didn’t come there to sit outside my RV but was looking for a decent proximity to most of the parks. Also, twice during our stay, they shut down the water to the park, and the only posted notice was on the doors to the bathhouse. This is a park with full hookups at all site, and no tent camping, so I'm pretty sure we're not the only ones who don't use the bathhouse all that much. It was a good thing we just happened to have water in our fresh tank. Having said all of that, it was overall a pleasant stay, and we would come back.

This park is clean and simple. The restrooms are clean and the sites are nice. Many sites are shaded with mature trees, a few had low branches so large rigs beware. This park was super quiet which we appreciated, it felt restful. It is one hour from Zion's south entrance, so if you are planning to head in to the park, plan accordingly as this will add a good amount of travel time onto your day. Overall, this was a quiet and safe place to use as a base-camp.

This is a super tidy, organized RV park. Nearly everyone had very large rigs. There is a small grass yard for tents only but they lump you all together. Sleeping in your truck/car is not allowed, unless you have a camper. Dogs are allowed, but check for breed restrictions. It says there is a dog park, but it's not fenced off and just dirt. Every site has a concrete pad, full hook ups and lots of shade trees, plus a grassy lawn (a few had rock lawns). Many people stay here seasonally. $400 a month someone told us. One lady said she lives there full time, we met her while she took her cat for a walk. It was a pretty quiet place, not many folks outside of their RVs enjoying nice weather. No picnic tables. What I liked the most besides being super tidy, were the shade trees and full individual bathrooms/showers which were included in your stay! While not our usual style of camping, we would stay here again if we needed solid lodging options while visiting Zion Country and didn't want to hunt down free spots on short notice or on a big Zion event weekend. Showers were great for our friend who ran a trail race.

Nice park with full hook ups. However sites are very close together and needed extensions for power and cable. Our 42' 5th wheel just fit and had to squeeze our truck next to it. Offer on site propane delivery. We were there during 2 weeks of Spring Break so it was very busy but not noisy. There's a Doggie Day Care just a mile away, Stay and Play, that is very reasonable so you can visit Zion without worrying about your dog.

This RV Park in Hurricane Utah, is one of the nicest parks we have stayed at in our travels. The streets are paved and each of the spaces have long concrete pads, and most have grassy yards and lots of trees. Only the newest section of the Park has rock yards and no/very young trees. There are many full-time residents here, but in very well-maintained spaces, with no overflow of junk around the units. The bathroom and laundry facilities are well maintained, as well as the grounds. Even the garbage dumpsters are disguised to keep the park clean-looking. They even have some tipis to rent for nights. The Park is very close to town, with a grocery store about 1/2 block away, as well as plenty of other stores. It is about 30-40 minutes to Zion National Park, and a couple of very nice State Parks are closer by. Verizon worked well for us, but also the Park WiFi was surprisingly good while we were there.

Just as advertised, nice level concrete pads, small grassy areas by each site. One fenced dog area, one open area. Price is $45 with Good Sam discount, $50 without. Very friendly and efficient at check in. One of the nicest parks we’ve seen.

We have stayed here about 6 times in the last 10 years. It is nicer every time we come back. It is also getting more and more popular, particularly with side by side enthusiasts. The sites are long, somewhat narrow. There are a lot of trees, which further reduce site width in a lot of cases. We were unable to extend our awning on our last stay.

We love this park. Great location for access to Sand Hollow, St. George and even Zion. Hookups were great. The place is SUPER-DUPER clean and the staff is absolutely outstanding. Flawless 50 amp service, and great water pressure. The sewer hook up is a little weird. It works fine and it's recessed into the ground so everything flows down hill (if you know what I mean). However, the connection is SO far recessed into the ground that the threads on my dealy-ma-bobber wouldn't catch. So, it just sorta stuck in there. I stuck a big rock on it to hold it in and it wasn't a problem, but it was noteworthy. I looked around, and most people had the same issue. Again, no problem, but if you have a sandbag or something you'll want to use it. All the sites are different in size it seems. We were in 113.. and it was tight. No real outside space to work with. Some sites seemed larger but not by much. So.. expect to use the common areas or spend lots of time inside. No fire pits at the sites (probably because they are so close). Overall, a really nice place, nice people and a nice location. We'd probably look for a wider site next time we come.

Stayed here for 6 nights visiting the National Parks. 20 miles from Zion, 2.5 hours to Bryce. Great location in Hurricane. Friendly people. Full timers keep their items neat and tidy. Grounds are clean, laundry facilities are great, the staff is great, etc etc etc. The only downside is there are NO picnic tables at the sites. We asked and the staff mentioned that they stopped providing due to clients setting fire to them, so it makes sense. Would definitely stay here again.

WillowWind RV Park in Hurricane, Utah. We've been here a month and the noise never stops. After having dealt with it for a month, I decided to make this video so that others would know what to expect. Loud loud loud! The noise here is non-stop. As I'm writing this I can hear a leaf blower outside - I'm sure clearing trimmings from a weed eater. Just to be clear - the problem is not the maintenance staff. They are very nice and courteous. And, they are just doing their job. The problem is with management and the owner. See our video insights: https://youtu.be/Rpfu6QRYfKc (No Ads - we don't make money off you...just sharing)

Hurricane, Utah wasn't our first choice of places to stay near Zion, but once we got to WillowWind RV Park, we knew we'd made the right decision. The grounds are immaculate; the staff is friendly; the shade trees made us feel like we were secluded in a campground setting, and we felt safe and secure during our stay. The park isn't far from Zion at all. We had less than a 30 minute drive to the national park. We actually enjoyed staying a bit out from all of the tourists. We also spent a day paddle boarding at Quail Creek State Park. If you like to paddle, we highly recommend the rental facility at the water's edge of Quail Creek State Park. The only thing that we didn't love was the blacktop streets. Our poor dogs had black feet every night. Of course, this is not a fault with the park. The road was well cared for and free of ruts and holes. No complaints here!

We stayed here when visiting, Zion, Bryce and the Grand Canyon, it was easy access to everything, and is a beautiful park. The bathrooms are super clean, and nice, and the wife is great, my wife and I were able to work from here, and the clubhouse is great. great for biking through, and nice access to laundromat, resteraunts and grocery. Would not stay in 110 again as you get a lot of the evening sun and was quiet hot from that, otherwise the trees were nice and shady. DON"T DRIVE ON THE GRASS!

We wanted to be close to Zion NP, but the closer campgrounds were full. We chose WillowWind which was 25 miles from the NP. We didn’t mind, as the drive to Zion NP is beautiful! The sites are cement and unfortunately, don’t include a picnic table or fire pit. The utilities are at the back of the lot, so we had to use two sewer hoses to reach the sewer connection. The park had many long-term seasonal RVs, but each site was well maintained. This is probably due to having to sign a 4-page rules and regulations document before you could go to your site. The park had 2 great laundry locations. OTA channels were limited, so we used the free digital cable that was offered and it worked well. We had full-strength AT&T 5G with great upload/download speeds. It was a very quiet RV park and we would definitely come again.

Overall this place was great. We stayed here while visiting Zion NP, which is about 35 minute drive away. The roads and sites are paved, reasonably wide. Bathrooms and showers were nice and clean, doors with security access codes on them. Laundry room was large with several functioning machines. They are located in Hurricane which is not too far from I-15 and is a fairly large town with a Walmart, Ace Hardware, etc. Overall my wife loved it and felt very comfortable here. I prefer being a little more remote, perhaps a bit less like a new subdivision, but overall I agree it was a high quality operation. The provided us a coaxial cable for the cable hook-up since we had not brought one - which was very nice perk. One small negative was that the site had no fire pit. The camp did have a large, gas-fired community fire-pit adjacent to the bathrooms where people sometimes gathered.

Fantastic RV park. About 20mins from Zion National Park. Big rig friendly, 50 amp, 30 amp, and cable TV available. Park also provides fairly decent WiFi. Note most sites are a bit narrow but long. Bathroom at park are very nice and clean. RV park is very well maintained, and quite. Grocery store across the street. Lots of place to get gas/diesel and a bite to eat.

Beautifully maintained small campground. Full hookups includes free basic cable & lots of shade.. Clubhouse with pool table, games and movies. Hotel across the street allows guests to use pool. (As they have companion guests frequently stay at the hotel.) We were pleasantly surprised at the friendly and gracious staff. Constantly puttering around campground to ensure the best possible experience for guests. My only issue with this place was the lack of picnic tables. But a wonderful staff member, whose name I am sorry to say escapes me. Brought one of 3 the park floates around as requested. Which was a wonderful surprise after a long day at Zion national park. All in all this is a wonderful place to stay.

Stayed here with the family on a recent trip to Southern Utah. Reservation and check-in went smoothly. Staff were very helpful and attentive even lending us an extension cord as ours was not long enough to reach the electrical hook up. Easy drives to St. George, Zion National Park and Cedar City. Grocery store, restaurants and gas stations just outside the park. Most sites were pretty shady which is a must during hot months. There was a small water issue in the site next to us but it was fixed and cleaned up quickly. Would definitely book another stay if in the area again.
