We arrived here from Maine after a long drive and just in time for New Years with fellow adventurers! This campground has three two person hot tubs and one larger one. The showers and bathrooms are remarkable and always clean. The site and facilities are of the best we have stayed at. As we are not golfers we can't speak to the greens but we are all fore the view and the hiking and biking trails in Borrego Springs. The town and winter community is also wonder full.

This is probably the nicest park in the area from what we saw driving around but it's not $65 nice. The sites are plenty big and the park is well kept. The weight room is ok, the pool and hot tubs looked nice but it's a family place and kids were using the hot tubs as swimming pools so that kept us out. Maybe better rules about kids in hot tubs would help. Restrooms were always clean. We opted for a Premium back in site for a couple dollars more and felt it was worth it BUT they should not charge extra for site 814 because of he electrical transformer that supplied a constant hummmm 100% of the time. And in a motorhome our heads were 20ft away from it so (BEWARE) if they offer you site 814 unless you have hearing aids you can take out LOL!! There is some great Boon-docking outside of town as an option. The town is pretty nice and some great hiking and Jeepin in the area.

Staying here for Thanksgiving week and we are still here as I write this. Easy access and check-in, with an escort to your campsite. The front desk staff were very friendly and offered up more information than you would need. The escort on the golf cart was the same, and I tried to give him a tip but he wouldn't accept it. The sites are level and spacious with concrete pads throughout. This place is spotless and everything works perfectly. There are wonderful mountain views from most sites. The amenities are fantastic here including the saltwater pool and 4 hot tubs, massage, two off-leash dog areas, tennis court, basketball court, golf course, catch and release fishing, (yep caught a two pound bass), ping pong, etc etc. Free WiFi was acceptable but kind of slow at night. We mostly use our own Verizon MiFi which worked well. An easy trip into town on bikes, and not far at all from the State Park Headquarters. Also close to many of the Galleta Medows sculptures http://www.galletameadows.com/index.php?option=com_datsogallery&Itemid=99

We originally booked here because the state park was full for the Thanksgiving holiday. We were so impressed with the staff, park, and golf course that we extended our stay twice. This is a beautiful full service park with large, level paved sites and patios. There are citrus trees throughout the park. Each site is carefully raked prior to your arrival with very cool patterns. There is plenty of distance between sites even in the "cheap seats!" There are four levels of sites. We stayed in the Resort Sites (cheapest) and would stay here again. Power was excellent and the water pressure was wonderful. The nine hole golf course is very challenging and immaculate. We played almost every day. There are special rates for those staying in the park. The staff is some of the nicest we've worked with in our six years. They went out of their way to accommodate our several extensions. The pool area was was very nice. It included a large hot tub and three small individual spas, which we have never seen before. The park and surrounding area is absolutely quiet. There wasn't a sound at night except for the coyotes on the golf course. The park has WiFi and it was adequate even over the holiday when the park was full. The Verizon signal looks great on the phone but the signal getting there is VERY slow for data use. Must be old equipment at the tower. We will definitely be staying here again.

We are not big fans of so called RV resorts. We typically would rather be in more primitive settings with more privacy. However, we keep coming back to The Springs when visiting Borrego Springs, mainly because of the pools and hot tubs which are enjoyable after each day of hiking and exploring around the desert. A big plus here is they do not restrict size and types of RV's. This in turn brings in a wider demographic then some of the more upscale RV resorts we have stayed at in the past. There are good boondocking options and the state park campground is excellent in Borrego. However, if you are desiring full hookups and pools/hot tubs, this is an excellent choice. Only complaint I do have with The Springs is the overabundance of lighting at night, They are located in a dark sky community that they also promote within their own marketing, However, they do nothing to restrict overly lit sites, have strings of bare bulb lights over the hot tub area, and have bright unshielded post lights. Very frustrating for those of us that would like to be enjoying more of the night sky right from our site. Lastly, we experienced very poor internet speeds while in Borrego this time. This included wifi at The Springs, the library, and both Verizon and ATT. The data lines getting out of the valley must have been impacted by the recent storms and heavy rains. It has not been a problem for us in the past.

I don't really know how to review this park because it was the first time we have ever stayed in an "RV resort." We had full hookups (also a first for us) and they worked fine. We have a tiny trailer so we had to place it towards the back of the space because we don't have a long sewer hose nor long water hose. The picnic table was at the very front on the space so not anywhere near where our trailer was in the back. We had a golf course view but it really wasn't a great view. To me the mountains are the best view and you can see them from anywhere. (We were with a large group and got a special rate--I would not have paid the full price to have a golf course view.) The biggest positive--They have a lot of bathrooms with free showers, which is nice. There's a large laundry room that requires quarters but also has a large basin if you need to just rinse out a few things. The biggest negatives were the following--#1. Nearly ZERO WiFi connection. Sometimes we could send a text but usual not. (You can't use the WiFi up at the office.) It was very frustrating because our plans for after this stay changed but we couldn't get a connection to map out a new vacation plan. I actually had to text my sister who looked up RV park telephone numbers so I could make phone calls. The park should not advertise WiFi. #2. It was great to have a pool because it was hotter than heck but the pool was typically packed and the water was cloudy. Maybe they need more chlorine. I would camp here again if going to Anza Borrego State Park because the time period when we went, electric hookups for A/C were a must and the pool was refreshing.

The people next to us had three dogs that barked--and this is no exaggeration, we timed it--for at least three hours, non-stop, every afternoon. And on-and-off throughout the day as well. You're thinking, "That's not the park's fault!" but, oh yes it is. After three complaints to the office, the only thing the park did was "mention it" to the owners. They apologized, but it continued and continued; and set off all the other dogs nearby. Every day. The park needs to set up consequences. If someone is bothering everyone around them, whether that's by being loud, dirty, or otherwise offensive, they need to be asked to leave. We shouldn't have to pay hundreds of (non-refundable) dollars to be barked at all day.

It's true...you get what you pay for. Beautiful, manicured grounds in a very relaxed and peaceful setting. Easy to find and fast check-in at front. Host escorts you to your spot. We were in Premium Pull-Thru site 806. HUGE, spacious level pull-thrus with desert landscaping, picnic table, and views. We were there in April and it was uncrowded and it seemed they were careful to space everyone as far apart as they could for the best experience. We really appreciated that because there's nothing like being in a nearly empty RV park, when they put someone smack dab next to you. Multiple, clean shower rooms- I'm talking private bathroom and shower room to yourself. Sparkling pool with some shade areas and pool loungers/chairs around it. They also have 3 smaller (2-3 person) mineral hot spring pools for soaking and a larger hot tub sized one. Hookups were modern and clean and easy to use. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Verizon service worked great. We never use Wifi so can't report on that. Let's talk Borrego Springs- This is a very small town with a few markets, some shops and restaurants. There is not a lot to do there. We took a motorcycle ride to the town of Julian for a nice day trip. It is a 10 minute drive over to Anza-Borrego visitor center and hiking trails if that's part of your plan. The roads to and from Borrego Springs are challenging. We came from Salton Sea side (via Palm Springs) and the highway into Borrego Springs (S22) was very rough and bumpy in parts so we had to go slower than the speed limit. Once we hit San Diego County, the road got smoother and they were fine in town. When we left Borrego, our next destination was San Diego and there are a few ways to head west. We were advised to avoid both Montezuma Valley Rd and Hwy 78 through Julian with an RV, so we took S2 toward Warner Springs, then 79 to Santa Ysabel. I only mention this because the other roads are even narrower and steeper. All are very windy because you are going through mountains. Nice place to stay. Don't know if we'll be back to Borrego Springs, but if we do, would definitely stay at The Springs at Borrego.

We were really impressed with this RV Resort from the moment we arrived. Staff is friendly, sites are very generously sized, the grounds are immaculate and there is every amenity you could want. The location was ideal for exploring Anza-Borrego State Park and the town of Borrego Springs. It's even within a short drive to both the Salton Sea and Julian. I honestly don't have a bad thing to say about this resort, except that we would have stayed much longer if we had the time. There are many RVs here that stay for a month or more, and it's no surprise based on what it has to offer. Highly recommend the fairway sites, as they back up to a great view of the golf course and front row seats for the morning sunrise. The town of Borrego Springs, resort included, is a 'dark sky community', so everyone is asked to keep their night lighting to a minimum, and the stargazing is great.

We have stayed here numerous times for weekend getaways from Oct to as late as May. Best in the high season for stars at night. Many snowbirds from as far away as Canada. We like to golf 9 holes and soak in mineral baths (spas). Bring you groceries as choices in town are scarce with no major grocer stores. Super place to just hang out. Con - WiFi.

Very clean resort with lots of open space to ride bikes/scooters/skateboards. Staff and camp hosts are all very friendly. Great place to bring your kids. They offer a discount for Good Sams, which isn’t advertised.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend for a family getaway. This is one of the best RV parks we have experienced. The sites are spacious and clean. The hosts are all friendly. We especially loved the 9 hole champion golf course. Saltwater pool was heated perfectly and multiple mineral spas were a nice touch. We did not partake but there was a thanksgiving day potluck. There is even a little spa room where you can get a massage without leaving the park. We can’t wait to come back!

This was the first stop on my wife and I year long journey across America and we were very happy with the resort. It’s hot out here during the day but at night it’s beautiful start skies. The mineral pools are a nice touch and there’s convenience stores near by. I would definitely recommend this campground and will be staying here again.

We were repeat visitors - our third stay - and because it happened in the midst of COVID we called ahead of time to make sure they were taking COVID precautions. They assured us they had contact free check in (which was great). They said that everyone would be wearing a mask when outdoors away from their site and there were lots of signs about this, but this was not enforced. No one, not the host couples or other visitors except for us, was wearing masks and there was no social distancing going on between the host couples and the hosts and guests. This was very upsetting in the midst of a big surge, especially. Second, the Quiet Time after 10PM was not enforced by the hosts. We were right across from the cabins and a large group that occupied all 3 cabins partied all night long for 3 nights until 1 or 2PM non-stop and no one came by to ask them to keep it down. Otherwise, the park is in impeccable condition and the sites are nice and level and spacious. Great for stargazing but would have appreciated enjoying the quiet too after 10PM. Just one of those timing things and we would return taking appropriate precautions and hoping for more considerate neighbors.

We loved this RV Park so much we extended our stay and booked again next year. Most friendly and hardest working hosts we have ever seen. The entire park is ultra clean and service oriented. Agree with last post that most people including most hosts were not wearing masks and this was Jan- Feb 2021. But easy to escape to a great walking/ biking path around perimeter of property with hardly a soul using it. And there are so many amazing and empty hiking paths in the nearby state park. We unfortunately did not take advantage of the many amenities due to COVID caution.

We stayed mid-April. After the snow-birds, and before the summer heat. We did get some windy times, but you planned around that. Nice level concrete pads, full hook-ups, including cable, (if you need TV), nice desert landscaping, trash pick up, propane refill, AND did I mention the great golf!! Coyotes spotted numerous times, so keep small animals close.
