The RV park we visited was quite impressive, with its front section being newly constructed. Unfortunately, it was fully occupied, so we ended up staying in the older section at the back which is currently being renovated. Our assigned lot, number 36, had recently been resurfaced with fresh blacktop, although I would have preferred if it had been laid out evenly. It wasn't a major issue, just not perfectly flat. The laundry facilities were top-notch, and the bathrooms were well-maintained with excellent showers. The swimming pool, also new, was fantastic and even had showers for convenience. The staff at the reception were extremely cordial and helpful, and there was a man available to guide you to your spot if required. The spots were quite spacious - I was able to park my F-250 next to my 35ft 5th wheel. There was also a picnic table provided. The Wi-Fi connection was the best I've experienced in a while, allowing us to stream movies without any interruptions. During a major storm one evening, we lost Direct TV connection, but the Wi-Fi remained functional. The TV service was restored later on. The promotional materials mentioned a beach campfire, but we didn't see any beach. There was a lake at the front with fire pits, but no beach in sight. The park is located about 20 minutes from the city center and 10 minutes from either the VFW or the EAGLES. The weather was unfavorable during our week-long stay, so we couldn't enjoy much of the campground's offerings. Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely revisit.

The camping site's main building is easily seen from the entrance road, often leading guests to mistake it for the front office. However, to reach the office, continue straight past the entrance gate until you reach the end of the road, where it's located on the left. During office hours, you can collect your manila envelope from the office, which includes a map of the camping site, key fobs for indoor facilities, and tourist information for St. Augustine. The office is also the place to check event schedules, collect mail and packages, or book a city tour. Old Town Trolley Tours provides a daily pick-up service from the camping site. For those arriving after office hours, your envelope will be left outside for you.The camping site is divided into two sections, each with its own set of camping spots. The first five rows are premium spots, featuring long pull-through spots with compact gravel pads, concrete strips, paver stone patios with picnic tables, and grassy areas with a minimum of one palm tree per spot. Standard spots are mostly back-in spots with gravel pads, grassy areas, and picnic tables. These spots are often occupied by long-term guests and offer cable hookups, while WiFi repeaters are found at the premium spots. We stayed at one of the buddy spots (99B), which are a bit narrower than the non-buddy spots but offer two patios and picnic tables. Although our spot was shared with our neighbor, it was spacious enough for our 37-foot rig and 21-foot truck. It was reasonably level and the hookups were conveniently located. The main building houses a lounge with tables and chairs, a TV, a library, and a small gym with two exercise machines. The back of the building leads to a gated swimming pool area with pergolas and lounge chairs. Food trucks often set up in the small parking lot in front of the building, which also has bathrooms on its south side. Another building near the back corner

Navigating to the park was straightforward, despite the fact our Garmin GPS couldn't identify the updated address. We simply followed the instructions on the park's official website. The park is situated just off I 95 on SR 207, with paved roads leading up to and within the park. The signage was sufficient. The check-in process was quick and the staff was welcoming. The park regulations were quite standard. We were given site 21, a back-in spot that was just spacious enough to accommodate our Coach and our towed vehicle side by side. All the necessary utilities (30/50 amp, water, sewer, and cable) were provided on the left side of our spot. The spacing was reasonable for a countryside park. While the deluxe spots boasted concrete patios, ours didn't. Our spot also lacked a table and a fire pit. However, it did have a flat, evenly spread gravel pad. The park, on the whole, was beautifully maintained and landscaped. The park's Wi-Fi was reliable and worked well throughout our stay. The cable TV offered a decent range of channels. We didn't bother looking for any OTA channels, and setting up a satellite wouldn't be a problem. We didn't make use of the restrooms or showers, but upon inspection, we found them to be clean and new, as was the laundromat. The park also offers a pool, bocce court, clubhouse, fitness room, enclosed dog park, and communal fire pits. While there aren't any restaurants or shops within walking distance, a short drive will lead you to food, shopping, and convenience stores. We found the park to be an excellent base for our visit to St. Augustine. Our stay cost us $69.04 per night, including tax, and we believe it was money well spent. We'll definitely return if we're ever in the area again. Our stay was at the St. Augustine RV Resort, and we camp

(This is now called St Augustine RV Resort and has a new address. Notified GM of need to change on this site.) WOW! This is a baby premier resort with a significant investment in quality. EVERY site is gravel pad with brick patio. New palm trees line the rows and tall junipers will provide increasing privacy as they grow. Tons of space, right off 95. Next to huge open space (future development) for dog play. New club house, but no other amenities yet in this area. Great separation between neighbors. Clear sky for satellite.
