This is a matured camping site primarily occupied by regulars. Their spots are expanded to the perimeters with extensions and vehicle shelters. The residents are amiable. Golf carts and bikes are the common modes of transportation. There's a massive recreational center featuring shuffleboard, a swimming pool, and many other amenities. A large library and a heated swimming pool are also present. It's advisable to carry your own internet connection. The communal wifi is restricted to the recreational center. Though wifi is available for purchase everywhere, it's costly and sluggish. For $15, you can access a week's worth of 1.5m or less, despite being advertised as 10 megs.

We stayed here this past week with our Thousand Trails membership, so it was “free” for us. They replaced the front entrance sign while we were there, which is a symbol of the upgrades occurring around the place. All washer/dryer machines accept credit/debit cards, which made paying so much easier than planning ahead & getting quarters. Also, there are multiples buildings throughout the park that have shower & laundry facilities, so there are not lines for either. The sites have picnic tables & concrete pads, though the sites themselves are on grass. There are a ton of permanent structures with seasonal snowbirds, but they are very nice & friendly towards kids. Lots of dogs being walked, people bicycling, & an overall feeling of happiness & safety. We had the only two children we saw the entire week we were there, & there is no playground. BUT, the location is perfect for accessing the sponge docks of Tarpon Springs, the city life of Tampa (Zoo, Children’s Museum, Bayshore Blvd, etc.), the beach vibes of Clearwater, & the amazing playgrounds & sunsets of Dunedin. Oh, & the office is great with package deliveries, if you online shop, like us!

Were traveling north on our way to Virginia, and decide to stay by my daughters near New Port Richey. This park is a 55 and over permanent mobile park, with a section for seasonal and drive through RVers. We like the place, is right off US-19, north of Tarpon Springs, and South of New Port Richey. The staff, and owner are super attentive, and the permanent residents as well. Very close to beaches, shops, restaurants. They offer full hookup, and the sites are asphalt surrounded by grass, with a picnic table. The down side of this place is no trees, very far and few areas of shade, and traffic noise at night specially on weekends could be a little noisy, and Wi-Fi is only available at the Clubhouse.
