Informal area, suitable for short stays only.
The only facilities available are toilets, and as this is not an official campground, the area is sometimes used for weddings and events. For longer stays, you would be better at one of the other nearby official campgrounds. Tent pegs should not be used as the area is irrigated, so not really suitable for tents. It is a nice treed location right in the middle of Clarendon with room enough for a van or camper, and would make a suitable overnight stop near Adelaide. There is a river walk alongside the Onkaparinga River a short distance from the campsite that follows the Clarendon River. Clarendon is a quaint and friendly little town and well worth a wander around.
