About Camp Bethel
Camp Bethel is a Tented Bush Camp situated on the doorstep of central Kruger National Park in Klaserie. Accommodation is provided in six en-suite tents, keeping it small and intimate, ensuring attention to detail.
Camp Bethel has six Canvas Safari Tents. Tents are positioned in the natural bush with general game like Zebra, Kudu, Nyala and Impala roaming freely. Leopard are spotted on occasion and in the evening the roar of Lion is a familiar sound as the camp is surrounded by Big Five Reserves. Guests are accommodated in Canvas Safari Tents constructed on elevated wooden decks. Tents have corrugated roofing structure to ensure cooler temperatures during hot summer months. For the cosy winter evenings, electric blankets are supplied if necessary.
The tents are furnished with a King-size / twin beds. The en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Each tent has a veranda with comfortable chairs and side tables and because of the elevated wooden deck and surrounding trees, the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee and rusks or sundowner drinks. The tents have a personal safe, Wi-Fi and tea / coffee making facilities.

There are four self catering tents available and two B&B or DBB tents. Guests booked on the self catering option can also book breakfast / lunch / dinner at additional cost. There are also breakfast and dinner baskets available, where we supply meats and salads for guests to prepare.
The camp has a restaurant, outdoor pool, lounge, refreshment station, TV lounge, dining area, boma and bar.
Nature bush walks can be arranged on Camp Bethel Property. Various activities can be arranged at an additional cost, including game drives, hot air ballooning, cultural village tours, Blyde Dam boat trips, visits to the Cheetah breeding project and Wildlife Rehabilitation Project.
From here you are close to attractions like Kruger National Park / Orpen Gate, Cultural Village Experience, Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre and the Mholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre.
