Campground along side one of the largest freshwater wetlands in South Australia.
The (caravan accessable) sites are undefined, level and some provide good shade/shelter from the wind. There are flushing toilets, gas barbecues and picnic tables. The lake itself is a seasonal wetland and can go from verdant to parched depending on the amount of rain. When there has been rain the wetland comes to life with frogs, snakes and birds. There are also boardwalks which allow you to get a closer look at the wetland, one has a good bird hide at the end of it. The nearby Big Hill lookout offers good views of the entire wetlands and is well worth the short side trip.
