Despite of the sometimes considerable noise from the adjacent street, Addo African Home was the perfect choice for us. - friendly owners with that touch of French charm - our tent accomodation was perfect in every way - the whole site is beautifully done and the different accomodations are tastefully decorated - Addo gate only 10 mins away. What else can you ask for?

This is a difficult review to formulate. The reception and staff were wonderful and could not be faulted. However the restaurant closure on Wednesday nights (Only) was very inconvenient given the insecure environment outside the motel and relative isolation from alternative venues. The management advised they were going to institute a Braai (BBQ) on Wednesday nights in future which will be a great improvement. Room was intended to be typically African and was well supplied with everything you would need but no desk for your computer etc. Grounds were great and plenty of places to relax. Wines and beers etc were available in small store on site but no ice to be had. Some small improvements including a bar service and the bbq will make this a really great place to stay. A reminder the staff were fantastic and did their best to cope with the limitations.
