Situated just a stone's throw away from I10, this charming little park offers delightful amenities and easy access to the Guadalupe River. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the proprietor. The only drawback was the incessant noise from the nearby highway, which was especially loud on the park's side closest to the interstate. Our camping spot was unfortunately the noisiest, being the one nearest to the interstate. On the brighter side, the park boasts a swimming pool, communal area, children's playground, and a waste disposal station. As for cellular service, Verizon offered 25 down and 1 up, while Tmobile provided a whopping 130 down and 78 up.

We were greeted on the phone by a very friendly lady while booking. Upon arrival it wasn’t like your standard campground. It is mostly full timers living there. Site is not maintained (cleaned, someone left a water filter and a couple trash items) but ours was pretty level (no level blocks needed). We texted her to let her know we were 15 mins out, we thought she would show up to complete the check in but she said she would catch up with us later to collect (we were going to pay cash) but she never did so we had her run our card. The pool was clean and refreshing even though it pretty much sits right next to the interstate (you could probably hit a semi or a car if you threw a rock 😝). The fact that we were right next to the interstate, we did not have noise from it at our site (more in the back of the park). We also had 2 ac units running. Wi-Fi was adequate, tv was decent (antenna not cable). The bathroom/laundry was old and needs to be replaced. My son needed to use the toilet as we got there before we could finish setting up and it was filthy (I had Clorox wipes at least). It was easy in/out and for the 16 hrs. We needed. I would continue on to the KOA not much further in San Antonio. She gave us a Good Sams discount. I give her 2 stars one for her being so polite and 1 for the pool. But I wouldn’t stay there again.
