The Wild is a property for self catering in Wilderness for up to 6 guests visiting the Garden Route region.

About The Wild
Nestled under the trees with abundant birdlife and surrounded by nature with partial views of Island Lake, The Wild is the perfect Garden Route glamping experience, set in the heart of the Wilderness National Park. Accommodating a maximum of four adults and two children, The Wild consists of two tents; The Lodge and The Dome. The Lodge tent is furnished with a Queen-size bed and has a sleeper couch for two children. There is also a wardrobe for storage space. The Dome tent is furnished with two single beds. Both tents share a bathroom fitted with a gas heated shower, toilet and basin. The tents open to a shaded deck where the galley is fully kitted for self catering with a two plate gas stove, a mini fridge, cutlery, crockery, utensils and glassware. The private sun deck is equipped with a braai area which overlooks the mountains. Private, secure parking is provided. The famous Garden Route is a captivating world of lakes, rivers, estuaries, beaches, forest and mountains. Nature trails wind through densely wooded forest and along tranquil rivers, giving one the chance to spot the brilliantly coloured Knysna Loerie, or one of the five Kingfisher species that live here. Experience whales and dolphins from Dolphin Point, hire a canoe or bicycle, go boating, fishing at Island Lake or hiking. Spot birds at the Langvlei bird hide, take a boat cruise on the Touw River, paraglide at Klienkrantz or visit the famous Sedgefield Farmers Market on a Saturday morning.
