33570, Ruskin
Florida, États-Unis

Tampa South RV Resort your new home away from home, is located near Tampa Bay's south shore in Ruskin Florida and sits waterfront on the Little Manatee River. Our docks and piers are a peaceful place to read a book, enjoy a cup of coffee, get some sun, visit with friends or watch some of Florida's most beautiful sunrises. You will enjoy swimming year round in our heated swimming pool, or you can just lounge poolside and dream the day away. Tampa South offers 19 boat slips that can be rented daily or monthly for your convenience. We also offer two fishing piers for all to use. Cutting boards, running water and electrical outlets make the fishing piers perfect to clean all those fish you will catch! Tampa South offers excellent RV parking spots. Each lot is equipped with full hook-up amenities. The entire electrical system, including a new 50 amp service and all street lamps, were upgraded in 2006. Phone and cable services are also available from Bright House for extended stays. Internet surfing and mail services are available at the resort office. A limited number of park models are available to rent if you choose not to bring your own RV. Shower and restroom facilities as well as twenty four hour laundry are available seven days a week.

We were able to stay at a Passport America rate for 5 of the 6 nights we were here. (Even in November). The rate reflects PA. The owners are sticklers for maintenance. Everything has been updated with cute, tropical decor and is maintained. This park is an example for other parks. Adorable common areas which encourage socializing. The pool always has at least a few people in it. It’s the gathering place for seasonal residents and they are very welcoming. Publix, restaurants, library just down 41. Go a little further to Apollo Beach to see the winter gathering place for manatees. We liked the park so much we’re staying on our way back up north too! There is a lot of traffic and a train that goes by, however, it becomes background noise and the train didn’t appear to run at night (or I slept through it 😁)

Stayed at this resort while attending medical appointments in Tampa (45 min drive). They offer military discount which is greatly appreciated! Our lot had a wonderful shade tree. Park was easy access for big rig (we have 43 ft rig). The train in the area can be a bit much including a run around midnight, and another early morning. Otherwise minimal noise from road traffic and others staying in part (both residential and transient). The office accepts delivery of packages and has been so accommodating for our needs. Can't say enough nice things about them. We installed our Pepwave router while staying here. Without antenna on the room, and with router beside the window we had download speeds of 4.4 mpbs, and upload speeds of 7.77 mpbs.

Facility is clean and well maintained. Staff and seasonal / permanent residents are friendly. The park is on highway 41, so there is some road noise. Also an occasional train. Neither of these are excessive. However, constant day and night noise from their wastewater treatment plant was unacceptable. Noise was so loud that it made sitting outside unpleasant. But the deal breaker was the constant drone of machinery from the waste treatment all night long. The only way I would consider staying here again is if I had assurance that my site was well away from the side of that park that has the wastewater treatment plant.

Video at https://youtu.be/Mium-rGnc-O or visit my YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/c/SoloRoamin. Reasonably level parking with concrete patios. Many planned parties and social events during the winter months. Easy driving to shopping and eateries. River saltwater fishing and boat docks. Free wifi worked pretty good. I put $45 on here because that is the winter rate. Check the website for better monthly and seasonal rates.
