The personnel were amiable, with amenities such as a gas top-up point, complimentary beverages, and a billiard table within the community center. Additionally, there were facilities for boat launching and clothes washing. The location was splendid, requiring only a minor adjustment for leveling. It was a peaceful and pleasant visit!

What a great RV park! We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Very clean and quiet and woodsy. There is a nice riverside boat launch and river scenery. Ice was only $1.00 per bag and the staff was friendly. The wifi was very fast. Our site was a sand/gravel mix and level. The hook-ups were in great shape. We loved this park and will certainly be back.

After driving I -10 the last 4 hrs it was time to pull over and this was tough because, it was a Friday night and 5 other campsite were full. We found this one on this site but, no review in over a year. I'm tired my back killing me and the sun was going down. So after call to make sure that they had a spot and they did for $27.00 a night water and electricity dump station on site. We drove in it was at the end of a dead end street, a lot of long timers here and we got a tent camping site. Big potholes at the entrance a little sketchy but nice folks. Hooked up and walked the grounds, I would recommend taking a shower in their bath house and they needed to put a little TLC on the grounds. The dump station was closed so they told us to use a full hook up site. They do have a washer and dryer $2.00 each and quarters at the office so. If you just need to rest, it's a ok place, the river right there and awesome sunset. Safe travels.

This campground was almost perfect! We called ahead for reservations and used our Passport America discount. We arrived around 4pm and were glad we had reservations because the park had no more open spots. Check in was quick and the office has a small camp store with some basic necessities, fishing supplies, and firewood. They also have propane. They have FHU sites, but our site (#24) was a back-in site with 30 amp and electric. There is a dump station. It was a mostly level and sandy. Our spot was great because it was at the end of the "cul-de-sac". The spaces are comfortably spaced. We did have a picnic table and fire ring. They do have WiFi, but it was not the greatest. The best reception we got with our Verizon cell service was about 2 bars of 3G! It made it difficult to get any work done. There is a laundry room ($1.50 for each machine). They had a pretty small playground with swings. They did have horseshoes and basketball. The clubhouse had a pool table, TV, puzzles, and books, but it was locked when we tried to check it out. They did offer free coffee in the morning in the clubhouse (which is the only reason we knew what was inside). They allow fishing on the bank and have a small boat launch for guests. The restroom/shower was fairly clean with plenty of hot water. There is only one shower stall and 2 toilets. You can lock the bathhouse door for privacy. We really enjoyed the setting with the big trees and the riverbank. The slow internet and low cell signal was the only downside for us personally. We made a day trip into Navarre Beach and Pensacola Beach. The weather was cool, windy, and overcast but we still enjoyed it.

We enjoyed our two-week stay here in late January 2019. Most of the sites are full-hookup, but they were full, so we ended up in the tent sites with no sewer. We still had 30-amp electricity and water and they have a dump station on-site. We liked our spot because it was tucked in the woods and we had no close neighbors. The rest of the campsites were in the open, but the distance between rigs was reasonable. The campground is mostly sand, but that is expected in Florida. Most was compact and there were no concerns of getting stuck. Very easy to get to this campground. It’s about 2 miles from I-10. We had good internet service for both AT&T and Verizon. It’s a small town so we went to Crestview for anything we needed which is about 15 minutes away. We originally booked for one week but stayed one more week to get some brake work done on the rig. The office staff were nice, and we were also able to get a package delivered while we were there. Overall, it was a good stop over to get some errands done. Not a ton to do in the area and the weather was not great when we were there. Had it been better, we would have visited the beach a time or two. We would stay again.

We opted to stay at River's Edge for 2 reasons- 1. We wanted to be close to Crestview so that we could make a trip into the DMV, etc 2. Value: with a Passport America discount it's $15 a night for FHU. We were assigned a pull-through site, and it was level for easy in and out. The park is very sandy, and I can only speak for the conditions while were there (no rain), that wasn't an issue. While the park was fairly full while we were there, the sites have comfortable spacing, and I didn't feel crowded in.

I stayed here 2 weeks. There are a lot of permanent campers but they were friendly and invited me to their nightly campfires. The roads and sites are all sand. It is packed down well and I didn't have a problem getting in or out. It was raining hard when I left and the road was squishy but I kept a constant speed and didn't get stuck. The bath house reminded me of a summer camp bathroom. No a/c, and only 1 working shower. They did clean it daily and I never had to wait in line. The river was at the edge of the property and I saw several people fishing in it. Most of the sites are pull through, they have a picnic table, various levels of hookups, lots of shady trees unless you are in the over flow area.
