I did not enjoy my stay, the room was cleaned on the second day. The bath room tiles were a mess and there was not even a single towel in the bath room. Old coffee and sugar and very dirty, unhygienic. The room condition was extremely poor standard, I will not book that accommodation in future.

Limpopo Lodge is TERRIBLE! DON'T GO THERE! We had booked for 2 rooms @ 2 nights. The reception area and rooms smelt of stale smoke. The young man at reception couldn't find the keys to the rooms and had to phone someone. The electricity tripped while we were walking to the rooms, and were told that this happens when the geysers switch on. One of the "rooms" was a wooden shack around the back with 2 sunken-in mattresses. The floor and surfaces were grimy, beds were not freshly made. Sheets were VERY old & worn thin, had a brown sheen to them. Pillows had never been washed; they smelt like people's heads. Doors were rickety, floorboards gave way. The other room, although we were assured it had been cleaned, still had dirty socks lying on the floor and underwear hanging in the shower, as well as the previous occupant's bag on the bed. The blanket on the bed was grimy. I'm not fussy (otherwise I would have booked at a hotel!), but I just COULDN'T stay there. We had to find alternative accommodation. I have seldom seen such a level of domestic neglect. When I asked the young man at reception whether HE would sleep in one of the beds, he indicated that he wouldn't.
