My spouse and I spent three evenings starting from the inaugural day, testing our brand new caravan. The area was incredibly tranquil as there were merely two other groups present. The abundance of avian life was delightful, and observing the ebb and flow of the tides was a pleasant experience. Our location was number 7, conveniently close to the washroom facilities without being overly proximate. While there wasn't a playground, amenities included a basketball ring and a horseshoe game area. The trail that runs parallel to the coastline was lovely. We were particularly fond of the maple tree at our spot. Both the park and the washrooms were well-maintained and spotless.

This place is absolutely beautiful! Quiet and peaceful. We had a great view of the tidal inlet from our site. Not a good place for kids as there is no park, but great place for adults who just want to relax! We will be back again and again!

A little off the route, but not far. Well worth the detour. Grassy level spot, great management/ownership, homey feel. Mosquitoes were too bad to be outside the night we arrived, but we walked the grassy paths in the morning. Quietest place we've ever camped. Great wifi as we were opposite office.

Good blacktop road from highway to c/g, Well marked, easy entrance to a beautiful setting on the harbor shore. Older park is well established and well maintained by owner. Grass sites, sheltered tables, good selection of accomodations from tents to full service hookups. Spacious sites with bushes for privacy. Breezy location with plenty of sun. WiFi works great, good cell service. C/G located about equal distance between Acadia NP and Campabello Island. This isa a good overnite stop or a destination for a longer stay. You won't go wrong here.

This is the best little campground! 21 RV sites and 9 tent sites on tidal waters. Very simple and well maintained, with sparkling clean bathrooms (music piped in), lovely shore walk, well planned sites, great views. Peaceful and quiet with astonishing sunsets over the water. Dog friendly. Off Rt 1, so easy access to coastal rides, nature preserves, restaraunts. We love the Mexican food at Vazquez's in Millbridge! We hiked Ingersoll Preserve trail in Addison, Pigeon Hill in the Petit Manon Preserve, and Frank E Woodworth Coast Heritage Trust Trail in Harrington. Lots more trails and conservation land in the area.

This is a great little campground that is tucked away in Downeast Maine. Every site is close to the tidal inlet. There is a well maintained walking trail around the entire campground with a gorgeous rock to sit on and enjoy the sunset. All sites are very open and you aren’t right on top of your neighbor. Our two pups loved the room to explore! Firewood and ice are sold using the honor system or an IOU. This just goes to show the great down home feel of this campground. We look forward to coming back here later this year or next year!

We left Schoodic campground in Acadia NP and did not have reservations for next stop. The August weather was so cool and we wanted to stay for a few days more. Another camper raved about this place so we checked it out and were able to get in for 3 nights. It was a very relaxing stay. The area is surrounded by fishing villages and antique shops, but not much else unless you are in to kayaking or boating. The campground is clean, had full hook ups for a reasonable price, and washer and dryer, for 2.00 each. Had a great breakfast at Scovills Millside dinner and then a nice drive to Bayview carryout right before Beals Island. We would definite stay here again.

We stayed here one night while just exploring the area. We had camped at a close by campground the night prior and saw this one while driving and thought we would try it out as well! We are so glad we did. It was a small and quiet campground with beautiful views! We didn’t need to use the bathroom or laundry facilities, but they looked fine from the outside! The short walking path was beautiful. We will definitely be going back for a longer stay!

Very nice campground and it can handle large rigs and there are tent sites as well. Hook ups water and electric only at the site with a place to empty and flush your tanks. The host was very nice and the other campers were super friendly. You can watch a beautiful sunrise and a beautiful sunset as well. They have very clean restrooms as well as showers and laundry room. I will definitely go back. Enjoyed watching the seals playing across the harbor at low tide.

Small campground with friendly, accommodating owners. They shared great info about the local area. Sites are well-kept; we had a FHU back-in and felt nicely tucked away due to the privacy hedges. Basic laundry room with a washer and dryer which was all we needed. Would come back here to spend another week in Downeast Maine.

If you like off the beaten path rustic campgrounds, then this may be the place for you. The Jonesport Town Park is on a peninsula over looking the Harbor, Beals Island and Great Wass Island. Jonesport and the surrounding area is rural Downeast Maine fishing village. There is a hardware store, small grocery store, two places to get pizza and a few other shops scattered here or there. You are about a half hour to anything larger in Michias or Milbridge which are on Route One.

Heard about this town C/G from a Canadian friend who has explored Maine for decades. The C/G is located on township land overlooking a working harbor with many commercial fishing and lobster boats moored in front of the campsites. There is electric, some 50 amp, some 30 amp, but mostly 20 amp service. They bring in treated water which is available and usually self-served. A pump truck comes in once a week and for $25 will pump your black/gray water tanks. There are tables and fire rings which define the site locations. There are a few seasonal rv's and everybody is friendly.
