Our two-week stay at this campground was during our trip to Cuyahoga Valley National Park and nearby areas. The main road leads directly to the reception, situated on your left. When checking in, park at the stop sign to provide space for other campers to bypass on the left and enter through the passcode-activated gate. Apart from four small back-in spots near the reception, all short-term stay areas are located on the right/eastern side of the campground. There are two brief rows of pull-through sites, with the rest being back-ins. Each site features gravel pads and grassy lawns, linked by gravel roads. Most sites have at least one tree, but only a few have ample shade. We had to place a board under our camper's driver-side tires at our fairly level site (611), and we weren't alone in doing so. Every site includes a fire ring and picnic table, with the three deluxe patio sites also equipped with a gas grill. The hookups were conveniently located. The campground offers standard KOA facilities. The reception houses a typical convenience/souvenir shop and an ice cream counter. A propane refill tank is nearby, and it seems they also offer 20lbs propane tank swaps. Two playgrounds are available: one opposite the pool with a sandpit and basketball hoop, and another at the campground's rear with a swing set, tetherball court, and open grassy area. There are three pavilions and two bathhouses with individual bathrooms and showers. Two dog runs are present, one small with a white, narrow-rail fence and single gate near the entrance bathhouse, and a larger one at the back with a chain link fence, airlock gate, but no lighting. There are ample grassy spaces around the lakes and campground perimeter for dog walks. As for mobile service, my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna provided the best speed at 10 Mbps download and 14 Mbps upload. Some evenings, the

This is a pretty decent KOA, well-situated for trips to the national park and Cleveland. The camp shop is good and the staff were excellent. Our plot (201) had a significant slope where the RV was parked, descending around 18 inches to the picnic table area. This resulted in a large step when exiting the RV and we couldn't position the picnic table fully under the awning. While these issues can be managed, the sewer connection being approximately 12 inches higher than our RV's outlet was a deal breaker. I managed to empty the grey tank using the snake method, but didn't want to take a chance with the black tank. We ended up emptying our tanks at the dump station on our final day. All in all, I would return to this campsite, but I would scrutinize my plot more thoroughly before detaching.

Streetsboro/Cleveland KOA is a cut above many KOA’s we’ve seen. The spaces have adequate separation and there are many mature trees throughout the campground to provide shade. The park facilities are clean and well maintained. While there is a large “seasonal” camping area (long-term residents), even those were quite tidy and well kept. Many of the sites are FHU pull-throughs, although there are also back-in and more primitive sites as well as rental cabins. Sites and roads are packed gravel with grassy areas between. This is a large park so the amount of shade and separation can vary, but I didn’t see any spaces where you were packed in like sardines. The staff were, without fail, exceptionally friendly and helpful. They guide you to your site, you can put out garbage and recycles to be picked up at your site twice daily. In addition to the usual, the camp store has homemade fudge and hand-dipped ice cream – Yummmm! The laundry facilities were spotless. I loved the antiques decorating the store too. The park has several amenities that would be especially fun for families. There is a swimming pool and lakes for fishing (catch and release only, no license required), playgrounds and outdoor games. Several large covered picnic pavilions also make it a great spot for group gatherings. We were here over Labor Day weekend (in fact they accommodated us a day early when we couldn’t find a place to stay enroute on Friday), so the campground was very full. Even so, we saw no rowdy groups and it was remarkably quiet after dark. As a plus, you are close to several small towns with shopping. Don’t miss the Hudson Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning. The Costco in Boston Heights had diesel fuel that was far cheaper than anywhere else. We had 2 bars of Verizon 4G. The park Wi-Fi worked well until around 7pm when the park was full and then is just died. After the holiday weekend, it worked great without any disruption.

Agree with Teddi and Roger of Kent WA review + our recent stay was 07/10//16 & 07/11/16 (I ‘m late in posting my review) . . . We camp in a Little Rig “Tear Drop” style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area. Park has 2 restroom/shower buildings – PROS and CONS of each. CONS: We camped close to very old outdated restroom/shower building. While set up unisex style with private separate toilet/sink/shower rooms, all were dismal not cheery looking in need of some TLC w/new fixtures and updating,.Rooms were sized ok, but had poor ventilation and steamed up quickly and no way to escape the air but open the door, then you’re exposed. Showers were very small/tight w/little room to move around. Rubber mats helps to absorb the water on the floor – but still wear your clogs. PROS: is the shelves and hooks for your stuff plus a small stool for sitting [all thoughtful convenience necessities for campers] Also the newer shower/restroom building located adjacent to the pool near the entrance of the grounds is very nice All unisex rooms set up the same way but larger, more modern bright and clean. Nice if some day they tear down old building and replace with copy of newer building as described. We camped at the back end of the campground on the grass and among the trees, which was very nice roomy and quiet. No issues there at all – nice area for big rvs down to tents. Campground layout was good w/pool, good condition gavel interior roads, cabins for rent, permanent and seasonal sites too – all well kept and neat looking. Appearance of grounds gets 5 star rating; it shows management cares.

I camped here as a base to visit friends. Only slept and showered here. $40 bucks for a grass site was kind of steep to me. The park itself was okay. Typical RV park feel. Restrooms were adequate.

Park was convenient to the Cuyahoga Valley NP, and featured many normal KOA amenities. Our rate was better than expected for a full hookup site at a KOA ($37). Sites were mostly level with good spacing; park was not very full when we stayed. Bathrooms and showers were very well maintained. Wifi was serviceable but not great.

Stayed here in early/mid September. Arrived on a Saturday and the park was busy. They were wrapping up activities like a car show and wood cutting demonstration. Staff (mostly younger kids on weekend, older staff on weekdays) was very friendly. The park has clear and reasonable rules to ensure everyone enjoys their stay, but I never felt like we were being overly watched like elementary school children during the stay. Our spot was generally level (gravel). I had observed some of the other reviews with complaints about I level spots. Unless you’re paying for a pad, I fee you have to expect to use some leveling skills when camping. Sites in our area were close. You’re camp side is going to be right up against your neighbors hookups. It wasn’t so close that we didn’t enjoy ourselves. We felt we had plenty of room on all sides. The owners care, and it shows. The grounds were well kept, the bath/shower houses were clean and seemingly recently updated. The park seemed to have a large number of seasonal sites, but they were all well kept. We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this KOA to anyone who passes through.

Not bad for an RV Park. A lot of long-term spots with nightly ones mixed in. The office and pool were nice - we didn't check out the game room or other activities though. My biggest complaint is that the sewer pipes didn't have the screw-in threads that most do. Our sewer hose sat in the pipe, but it wasn't a tight seal, so you'd get sewer smell coming out now and then. Didn't seem to be specific to our site since we noticed it quite a bit walking by other sites, too. Also, we were lucky to have an end site, so our picnic table/fire ring was along a road; however, since sites are pretty close together, many sites would basically walk out their front door and be right next to the sewer line. Not really ideal. Our site was easy to pull in. Most others we looked at seemed equally easy - no large objects or trees really blocking the way, and you had plenty of space to avoid the picnic table and pedestal. Staff were friendly, and we were able to get packages delivered to the office. It was 15 min from Cuyahoga Valley National Park which was our primary reason to be there. There is also a nice town park just down the road from the campground. We rode our bikes there from the campground, and then rode around the park loop. The park is also close to big box stores, if you need to resupply while you're in the area. Wifi was fine most of the time. Got a little slow a couple nights, but better than most places. Cell reception was good as a backup.

No response from owners or hosts. Called Friday and Saturday Sept 28th and 29th about our stay. Noticed that another person was able to complete the survey for the Streetsboro KOA and indicated they were not allowed to stay because of bedbugs, probably because of my calls and complaints. I've yet to receive a call. This email to the owners sums it up: My husband and I have always had pleasant visits to KOAs. We visited your KOA for our anniversary on September 21 for two nights in a one room cabin, K102. A few days after returning home I began to itch, an extreme itch. By early morning it was apparent that I had been bitten by bed bugs. I confirmed this with a visit to the Doctor. The bite patterns and location were consistent with bed bug bites. I called an exterminator the same day to verify that there is no evidence of bed bugs in our home. This was also confirmed. The exterminator and the doctor indicated that for some individuals, bites can take a few days to become visible/evident. The consensus is that the bed bugs were located in your cabin. I have had an extreme allergic reaction and the bites have been insufferable – painful, and extraordinarily itchy. I incurred doctor’s bills as well as the attached exterminator bill to confirm these were not present in our home. I have also spent a considerable amount of money on allergy medications, a steroid prescription, and ointments/sprays. This has been stressful and upsetting. I have been under duress for five days due to these bites and lost a day of work because the reaction was so extreme and visible I could not remain in the office. Steven took two calls from me and I have been anticipating a return call from you. Please see the attached documentation. I would appreciate a refund for our stay and would like to hear what your plans are for addressing the pests in your cabins

We stayed at this KOA for 10 days while visiting Cuyahoga Valley National Park and Cleveland in late September, 2018. It is a nice KOA that is lower priced than many I have looked at but also not as fancy. There is a mix of different kinds of sites. Some seemed to be seasonal and/or permanent but they were in separate sections. Our site 600 was not very level and very muddy. It had been raining a lot but in the 10 days we were there it never dried. We had full hookups, picnic table and firepit. There was a small fish and release pond that we were near and could see out our window. It was very busy with families on the weekend but quiet during the week. The park has a gated entrance, has laundry (5 washers, 2 broken, and 4 dryers), store, propane, pool (that was closed for the season) and playgrounds. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were escorted to our site. Trash and recycling bags are provided and are picked up at your site. Wifi was not too stable, cable was OK.

We stayed at the campground for medical appointments. Good location for this. One was in Cleveland itself. If you take Cedar road you can avoid the heavy interstate traffic. Two appointments were at Streetsboro Cleveland clinic site. This was 10 to 15 mins away. The site was great. Level, good cable, good cell phone service for t-mobile, staff very nice and helpful Great place for Cleveland clinic patients. We had one concern. As you come or go on the road there was a walnut tree dropping walnuts. They could do some damage to a car or RV. One other bit of dislike was it was close to Halloween(this is not the campground problem), but the last site on the only way out, had a fake bloody head hanging from a tree. I found this every distasteful. I think if anyone had family or a friend that had hung themselves this would be hurtful for them to see. I felt bad that someone would have to look at that. If that site belong to the campground ......

We really enjoyed our stay. Site 550 is on and end with a nice side yard and shade trees. The staff is pleasant and helpful. There’s a management presence to tidy and tend to things. People were well-behaved and orderly. The town of Hudson is really nice and clean with great restaurant selections and great bike trails. One thing we’ve figured out after 3 years and 300 nights of camping... KOAs have standards which are most often met.

First the good stuff: Friendly KOA-uniformed staff upon check-in, appealing entrance driveway to office registration. Updated sewer connection as well as electric. Quiet at night. The not so good stuff: gate entry pad installed way too low making it very difficult to enter code in a ‘regular’ car let alone a truck or motorhome; very (underline ‘very’) narrow unpaved, uneven roads leading to our site (or any other sites); extremely uneven sites making it quite the task to level; we had a long pull through but very narrow in width forcing us to step on muddy wet grass. We’ve experienced some of these at other campgrounds— but was hurts is the $57/night (with my KOA member 10%)... way off the chart. Connection w/Verizon was ok including the streaming power.

Average campground. Mixed emotions about it. There was a lot of conflicting information in the paperwork handed out when we checked in and what actually happened. Examples: - Pool hours listed as 9AM - 8PM on paperwork, but sign at pool had varied hours - Garbage pick up listed as 8AM - 8PM, but they didn’t come around to pick up in the evening several times. Because of this, raccoons got into the bags of trash people left for pick up. (Only dumpster located all the way at front of park, outside the gates). - Check in/out times. Check out on paperwork listed as 11AM, but received a text from the KOA stating check out is noon. In addition to this conflicting information, several of the sites were on grass (water/electric sites) and very muddy. Looked like it was a perpetual issue as there were several deep ruts in all of the grass sites. Our full hookup site was gravel and was level. Several seasonal / long term residents. Staff was friendly. Pool was clean. Offered fire wood and ice delivery to sites. Good location to see Cuyahoga Valley National Park as it’s fairly centrally located. Park was quiet.

$67 for a Saturday night with a KOA rewards discount is too much for a muddy site across from a pen they called a “dog park”. We were just passing through and there were few choices in this area of NE Ohio; we would travel on rather than stay here again. Although WiFi is advertised it is virtually nonexistent. WiFi access was one reason we booked this spot; for the cost, we expected service. The campground also appears to be seriously understaffed and most staff members were teenagers who were inefficient and inexperienced - check-in was slow. Only positive was that it was quiet.
