It was a Wednesday night so I had it all to myself for the night. All three way up til 10 pm trucks and boats were in and out of the water making lots of noise. Then at 7 am a tow truck came barreling down and woke me up. However, I would definitely stay here again for the time of year and midweek. My guess is it gets crazy in the summer and weekends though with locals fishing and boating. Also background noise was light traffic throughout the night.

It’s a shame that people could care less about picking up after themselves. This place could be nice if only people cared.

We didn’t end up staying as the 4 or 5 sites were all occupied, though it was a weekend late in May. But Pitts landing seems like a nice spot on the river and is easy to access.
