The amenities are well-maintained, and the campgrounds are located adjacent to the brook. There's a faint odor of cattle dung. I would have preferred the trees to be closer for hammock hanging, yet this location served its purpose.

Arrived here on a Thursday night. We normally stay at state parks but were in a pinch and needed a place with pretty short notice. The location is great. Very easy access to Amish country, Hershey and Gettysburg. The campground was pretty much what we expected. Thursday night was fairly quiet although the place was pretty full. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Then Friday happened. It’s summer so lots of families with lots of kids which would not be horrible if even a small percentage of the grownups actually supervised them. We came home from sightseeing around 7 pm and the campground roads were clogged with kids on bikes and adults socializing in the middle of the street barely even trying to move out of the way while we were driving to our site. And they really do pack in as many campers as possible. Very crowded with extremely limited space between you and your neighbor. By Friday evening the bathrooms had been heavily trafficked and it’s Saturday now and they’re still looking beat up. When we returned this evening, there was an Amish family cruising through with goods for sale. Very cool! Oh and there is the rollercoaster adjacent to the campground (and our site). Dutch Wonderland is only open 10-6 so it could be worse! Overall great location but if you are looking for peace and quiet and camp sites with privacy, this isn’t it! If you like the whole socializing with everyone on the “block” it’s definitely a good fit for you!

Camp sites could have been raked, lots of debris. Sites were easy to access. Great site for visiting Lacaster.

Stopped overnight early spring. Great spot- full hookups, gravel pad, trees and creek. Strong "farm" smell depending on which way the wind blows. The park was maybe 20% occupied and very quiet, but I wonder how loud it is in the spots that are right next to the Dutch Wonderland roller coaster. Staff on the phone was friendly, but promised to leave us firewood as we arrived after office hours, and didn't.

We stayed here for one night after we picked up our TT. It was practically empty and the sites were large. Beautiful view with a stream running along the back of the park. Next door to Winter Wonderland. Clean facilities, game room, laundry. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

This is a beautiful campground with nice views of farmland. We saw lots of cows grazing each day just across the stream. The campsites are spacious and we had a good amount of space separation from our neighbor. Check in was quick and easy and the staff was friendly. The campground is connected to Dutch Wonderland which we took our kids to one day. It was really nice to just walk over to the park and not have to drive or pay for parking. There is so much to see and do in the area. Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile all worked great. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we are ever in that area again.

This campground is affiliated with Dutch Wonderland amusement park. It is average at best, not great value at $55 per night with no discounts. Gravel sites had FHU's and had thick tree cover in serious need of trimming. Our site had a large branch scraping the top of our MH. No satellite reception, their cable was OK. Nothing like hiking or biking trails, only kids playground here. They sell propane here (expensive, over $4 per gallon), and there is air available. However, the air was useless to MH's, it had a limit of 65 PSI. 1 garbage can area for the whole park, very NOT centrally located at the far end of the park. It is a good central base location for Hershey, Philadelphia, Intercourse, Amish country, and covered bridges. The driveway is off Lincoln Hwy, a nightmare of a traffic mess. And the birds can be your alarm clock, as long as you don't mind it "going off" at 3:30 am.
