Large free campground with lots of level grassy areas, suitable for caravans. The campground is situated near where the ferry crosses the entrance to Lake Alexandrina from Lake Albert on the Murray River, so there is definitely the opportunity to fish here, however I never had any luck.

Large, easily accessable campground with walking (or 4wd) access to the beach. A nice spot to base for exploring the dunes/beaches of Coorong National park, with toilets, picnic tables and large grassed camping areas.

This is a large, flat and well grassed campground with plenty of open space. The openess and low vegetation surrounding this campsite makes it a bit less desirable in windy weather as there is not a lot of shelter provided.

Fairly open campground on the banks of the Murray River near Mannum. Great little spot if you need or want to be right on the river, with boat ramp access. It is definately not the most secluded of sites and you will likely be sharing it with other campers however quite comfortable.

Basic bush camping behind sand dunes, with a short stroll over the dunes to the beach. This is a great spot if you want a bit of seclusion and don't mind not having all the creature comforts. I have been told that you can catch a few Salmon here, but for the life of me I can't seem to get one.

Free camping in shady roadside reserve, just outside Langhorne Creek. The area is very well kept and only a short distance from town. Not a long way off the road, so can get some noise from passing trucks. Friendly locals and lovely site.
