Large shady river flats on the Swampy Plains River. Camping area stretches from the Alpine Way down and across the river for a couple of km. Excellent facilities- composting toilets, wheelchair friendly. Magnificent views of the main range. Lots of kangaroos, possums and bird life.

A very picturesque green site in a forested gully, on small level grassed (short) flats on both sides of the bubbling Dingo Creek near its junction with the Agnes River. Well shaded by a mature pine, wattles and blackwood, surrounded by steep forested slopes and tree-fern gullies. Rated 4.

On the edge of the Snowy River, this large, reasonably level campground is suitable for small caravans or tents. There are only basic facilities here, but the views of the Snowy River make up for the lack of amenities. AccessThis site is accessable by caravans in good weather.

A popular Bass fishing location and campground on the banks of the Clyde River. Pets allowed in the state forest area (not allowed in the national park adjacent). There is a long, steep (about 10km and rising 800m in altitude) walk up to the top of "The Castle".

A pleasant riverside camp, suitable for caravans, 6km from Peak hill. Bogan Weir (or Peak Hill Weir) is a large open and grassy clearing alongside the gum-lined water. There is good access to the water and it is an easy spot to launch a canoe or kayak and he water attracts a lot of birdlife.

Open, attractive, campground approximately 60km from Jindabyne. This is a good base for fishing, being at the junction of the Pinch and Snowy Rivers. You will require a fishing licence from Department of Primary Industries to fish here.
