Pleasant dispersed riverside camping with numerous level sites shaded by a row of Red River Gums backed by mature Black Box over grass, with wattle and scrub understory. Sandy river banks, few beaches. There is one high level (grassed and shaded) site at the forest edge.

A very picturesque green site in a forested gully, on small level grassed (short) flats on both sides of the bubbling Dingo Creek near its junction with the Agnes River. Well shaded by a mature pine, wattles and blackwood, surrounded by steep forested slopes and tree-fern gullies. Rated 4.

Bettys Beach Campground

Beautiful, free, beachside campground at the eastern end of Two Peoples Bay near Albany. There are basic toilet facilities and rubbish bins provided. From February to April, this area is used by the commercial fishers and camping is not encouraged.

Open clearing, used as a school camp excursion. Big open area. Shady tall trees. A nice quiet spot, good for looking at wildlife. I stayed one night and saw 2 stags, a wombat, an emu and a whole bunch of birds. AccessThis campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.

A popular Bass fishing location and campground on the banks of the Clyde River. Pets allowed in the state forest area (not allowed in the national park adjacent). There is a long, steep (about 10km and rising 800m in altitude) walk up to the top of "The Castle".

An attractive grassed clearing on a low ridge above Long Gully Creek. Well shaded by Stringybark with a wattle understory. The small, level parking area is adjacent to facilities (new). Wallabies are common, birds (kookaburras, wrens, etc) plentiful. Three walking trails.

On the banks of the Murray River with shady or sunny sites suitable for caravans or motorhomes but no tents allowed. There is easy access to the river for kayaks or small boats via a dirt boat ramp (would be suitable for most tinnies). Sites are mostly grassy with large eucalypts for shade.

A pleasant riverside camp, suitable for caravans, 6km from Peak hill. Bogan Weir (or Peak Hill Weir) is a large open and grassy clearing alongside the gum-lined water. There is good access to the water and it is an easy spot to launch a canoe or kayak and he water attracts a lot of birdlife.
