We were there for a Newmar Rally in June and loved it. My only complaint is the WiFi which is the norm for RV parks. Beautiful lagoon and pool and WI river. Lots to do. We will be back. Also, a restaurant on site. We have US Cellular and had no problems with our phones.

I had booked a Riverside RV site for our 10th wedding anniversary/4th of July. When we arrived, they told my wife that I had booked for June 1-5 instead of July 1-5. I do not think that is true since the rate was different on my invoice for the nights of the 3rd and 4th. Anyway instead of a riverside site, we were sent to the resident trailer park into a street full of Karens by the bathrooms. This place is too pricey for that and it is not very nice, particularly in the trailer park. The hookups are iffy and this place is just way too big. It’s more like a small town carnival with a bunch of campsites.

My wife and I came up from Chicago for a weekend to shake out the trailer before the start of the summer season and had a great time. The campground is on a wide river, and takes full advantage of the location, with a limited number of sites on the river bank and a large number just inland. There are a fair number of sites for seasonal campers as well. The campground, which is very close to Spring Green, has a well stocked camp store (looks newly renovated), a pool, a putt putt golf course and a full restaurant, which attracts people both from the campground and from the area. My only complaint - WiFi was spotty. A large dog park is within walking distance, and is well used by the locals so our dog had plenty of new friends to run off his energy with. Spring Green is a wonderful areas, and we’ll definitely be coming back, and when we do we’ll be calling early to get a reservation here.

They set up and immediately on Sunday morning started with the extremely loud music. I called on the manager and told her we we're not staying another nite with these people next to us for another day and nite. Even with real young children on the other side of them they kept dropping the F bomb constantly. Two them even got into a domestic dispute that became real threatening. Finally when it got dark the music died down and we went in just after 10pm. About 1:45AM 4 of them were just outside of our closed windows and were hollering and laughing to the point where I called the owner Terry. He came out about 30 minutes later and by now things were done , of course. They gave me my money back for both nites but basically said there was nothing they could do even though their rule waiver, that you had to sign, said you will be asked to leave if you violated any of these. Including profanity, loud music or violating the 11pm quiet time. These people just didn't care what they did and the camp staff basically said they had to catch them doing something. To sum it up......the camp is nice. I go camping to relax and enjoy the quiet. This was good up to the time the camp staff would rather give money back to me, rather than confronting these mid 30's drunks and throw them out. Just doesn't seem right. They must have been afraid of some retaliation. Not coming back. I just wonder what would have happened if it were me and my wife making all the noise and abuse of the camp rules?
