Whisper Creek is a 55+ family owned and operated. We are located in the small historic town of LaBelle. Whisper Creek has two clubhouses, air conditioned. There are lots for rent or for sale. Big Rig and pet friendly.
I arrived at this location with a large 35-foot 5th wheel trailer and a long bed pickup, settling in at site #173, a full hookup, back-in site, costing $60 per night. The roads were paved while the campsite consisted of grass and sand. Recent rainfall had softened the ground, making it difficult for me to back in without spinning my wheels. The campsite was uncomfortably close to the neighboring site and the adjacent permanent residence. The registration process was somewhat confusing as I never received any confirmation or instructions regarding check-in. The camping area was gated, requiring me to make a phone call to gain access. The office was closed and there was no information available in the "after hours check-in" box. Eventually, I managed to find someone who could contact a staff member to assist me. I had to wait for a while for the on-duty staff member to arrive and guide me to my site. It seemed like the management hadn't put much thought into handling short-term rentals, as the majority of the park's occupants were permanent residents. My Verizon service was decent with 3 bars of LTE, but Wi-Fi was only available at the clubhouse (the repeaters had been damaged by Ian). I didn't check the over-the-air channels. The laundry facility was small and always crowded. The washing machines cost $2, while the dryers were priced at 25 cents for 8 minutes. A word of caution: the link provided by Campendium would have directed me to the wrong location. I suggest manually entering the address to reach the correct destination. I only chose this location because my preferred destination had been damaged by a hurricane. I doubt I would choose to stay here again due to the style of the place and the issues with management. However, I found the local residents to be quite friendly.

Friendly people, great staff and large campsites. The community is very active and there are dozens of things to join in on. There is not a lot going on in the LaBelle area, but Lehigh Acres, Ft Myers and Cape Coral are within a 30 min drive. The park is very well maintained, but the laundry should modernize to get away from using quarters. I only planned to stay 2 wks but stayed 5 as the park was so nice. Shout out to Ana and Lisa!

Nice wide grass sites. Very nice friendly folks staying there. A lot of seasonals but clean up to date homes. Loved this park but not much to do in the area. The park itself has a lot of activities. Would definitely return.
