Unlevel site. Dog poop everywhere you step. WiFi was good. Front desk guy was pleasant and helpful. Grossly overpriced for what you get but the only other park in town only takes phone reservations and doesn’t answer the phone.

It was a long day of driving and I was tired so I stayed but I should’ve looked elsewhere. There was an unseasonal snow storm so the park can’t be blamed for the fact it’s a mud pit and the few concrete spots are ponds but there’s other issues. Obviously it’s expensive at $50 per night but also their computer doesn’t know what spaces are open. I was given 4 options and two of them were full. There were also people who parked their cars in open RV spaces. The really ridiculous thing is that each power pole is for two spaces but each only has one 30 amp and one 50 amp outlet. I was assigned a space and I have 30amp on my rig (I was asked this at check-in) but the person in the next space was already using the 30amp outlet. When I pointed this out to the front desk clerk (after I waded thru the pond that is supposed to be a concrete parking slab) she told me they have 50amp to 30amp adapters. That would have been good to know in advance but I just moved to a space that per their computer was occupied but wasn’t.

If it were possible to leave zero stars I would. This place is the very unlevel dirt back-lot of a fleabag no-tell-motel and cannabis shop. The grounds consist of dirt, weeds, and trash. There are no restrooms (not that you would want to pull your pants down in this place anyway), no laundry, no wifi, and no feeling that you'd be safe leaving your rig to run into town to get food. We only stayed here because the spot we booked for 2 weeks at Trinidad Lake State Park would not actually fit our fifth-wheel... I'll post a separate review about that whole fiasco. I booked for two nights but once we pulled in it was clear we would not stay for more than one night. Most rigs here are long-termers, one small step up from homelessness. One rig near us had their pitbull off leash and you could hear an agressive dog in another rig going apeshit every time you went outside, so when the dog had to pee we both went out with my husband standing guard with a walking stick or baseball bat. Yeah, it was that bad. Our site featured a bad puddle/mudhole and was right by the fence separating the lot from a busy road. There were abandoned chairs, probably 50 cigarette butts, and assorted garbage everywhere in our spot and throughout the property. The person working the counter also runs the cannabis store and was so inebriated he was nearly incoherent. In hindsight we would have been better off in a parking lot or rest area than this craphole.

Needed to stay in Trinidad Colorado for one night and this was the only available RV park available in town. The park is basically a gravel parking lot. They do have 12 spots that have a cement pad but they are very close together. I was so close to my neighbor that I decided to face my trailer the other direction for some privacy. By doing this, I was unable to use the electricity. Not that big of a deal since I was only staying one night. The other spots are on gravel and are not marked well so not sure how many spots were there. If you are planning on staying in Trinidad longer than one night, you may want to find another place.

We stopped here one night on our way through. The rate was way too high for such poor facilities. The dozen or so spaces are cramped together with no room and just a few feed from the neighbors. The young man in the office said the showers required a key card but his system was down so he wanted us to ask him to open them. We elected to skip the shower facility. Would not recommend this place unless you need water/electric and have no other options.

Note that this facility changed owners over 2 years ago and is now called Tower 64 Motel and RV Park. It is located right off I-25 at exit 11, and the RV part is basically a small parking lot with 10 pads with hook-ups that are very close together. We fit at 34' but a big diesel unit pulled in after we got here and they were too large to fit. We had hoped to stay at Trinidad Lake State Park but they were full and we didn't want to drive another 20 miles to Raton. They do offer a 5% discount to Good Sam members. There is no cable or wifi and we did not use any of their facilities so I don't know how clean they are.

I spent a week at Tower 64 during winter. This place is quiet and has amazing views of Fishers peak. It also has a little play ground for the kids. The Wi-Fi connection was decent but perhaps that’s because I parked near the router. The manager Jeremy was extremely helpful. The neighbors seem to speak highly of him as well. One nice neighbor even helped me get the slide out for my Pace Arrow 37A extended after checking on the electrical wiring.
