Positive aspects include well-maintained bathrooms, an indoor swimming pool, and flat concrete camping spots. On the downside, the spaces are closely packed with little to no seclusion, scarce greenery, and an abundance of clutter near the camping areas. The majority of campers stay for extended periods or during specific seasons. The nightly rate of $70 is certainly steep for the provided amenities. Additionally, locating this campground from the main road can be quite challenging, and it's not in close proximity to many attractions.

This park could be so much nicer. There is a pond and sites are well spaced and level. The problem is with the grounds and the upkeep. At the entrance you are greeted with overflowing dumpsters, piles of discarded appliances and furniture and an old machine shed missing half its roof. As you continue through the park trying to find your site with no visible road signs or consistent site numbers you must dodge the potholes. Then you arrive at the site only to find it covered with 8 inch tall weeds and backing up to a highway. Vast majority of sites here are seasonal so they probably overlook its flaws. But short term guests will likely not return. Stores about a 15 minute drive and about 45-60 min to Cleveland. No WiFi. There is a nice big indoor pool.

We enjoyed sitting outside on the lake in the evening. FHUs with 50 amp and concrete parking pad. Good spacing on all sides. Very friendly people. Several seasonals and they all seem to have gold carts although the park isn't large. Fish for bass in the lake, swim in the indoor pool. Breakfast and dinner served at the gathering room on weekends for a small fee. Close to I-90 but very little road noise. Getting there from the highway is a weird route, but no issues for a big DP towing a Jeep. Only ding is the poor water pressure. Amherst is a nice little town with all services. Beautiful old farmhouses and barns make the backroads a treat to drive. Satellite and MiFi both worked well here. No in-park WiFi or cable.
