The Loose Caboose Campground

5130 Strasburg Road
17535, Kinzers
Pennsylvania, the United States

We are a 26-acre campground located in the heart of Pennsylvania Amish Country in beautiful Lancaster County, PA. We are a second generation family-owned campground proudly serving the needs of Overnight, Weekly and Seasonal campers for 30 years. The campground is well-known for its large, secluded wooded sites, yet has the distinction of being located just minutes away from many popular tourist destinations and special area events. We are surrounded by gorgeous Amish farmlands and also offer an excellent view of the passing Amish Buggies and the Amtrak/Conrail mainline. There is so much to see and do in this famous tourist area that you will never be bored. Even if your goal is just to sit around the campfire and have a nice, relaxing, break from the world, we can offer that as well. Our mission is to make your stay here as enjoyable and peaceful as possible.

This was a stop to see the area for a couple of days. We had a level site at the top so that helped a lot. This is a very old, warn out RV park. Old abandoned trailers, full-timers with very old rigs, falling down buildings. There is a loud train that runs across the road. I can't say as I would stay here again considering the expense and the nicer parks we saw in the area after.
