Stayed here during the winter season for $6 a night. No one there. Pit toilets were open but nothing else is available including water in the winter season. Site is a bit beat up but the views were awesome. Easy in and out.

Stayed July 2020 - in the summer all sites are group sites - we were with 2 other families, so not sure of the costs. Beware - There are no hook ups and no where to fill your water tank! There is one bathroom and one water facet. Fill your tank at the RV park on hwy 40 before you turn off to Dinosaur - it’s across From the rest area - $10 to fill and dump. They charged me when I dumped 2 days later. Bring generators if you go in the summer as it can get hot Over 85 one day for us. And it seems to cool down nicely. Have fun

We stayed here for two nights at the very end of March and loved it. It's inside the park so you are a short drive to the Visitor Center. There is also a trail head for a great hike right at the campsite. Apparently from April - October this is used for group camping and costs $40 a night but in the off season it is open to anyone for just $6 a night (no hook-ups). There is a bathroom there but it was closed for the off season. The drive down into this campsite was a bit steep and windy but we were fine with our 30 foot travel trailer. I forget exactly what our cell signal was like but I know Verizon was a struggle even with a booster.
