First, this was an overnight stop for us, so was just looking for a quick easy stop. The check-in process was simple and quick. However, we were put in the F section right next to the highway—lots of road noise. Next, I told them we have a 28ft TT. They put us in a site that was too small. The site was gravel and not level. We had to maneuver a lot to find a decent spot. Disappointed for the cost $55.00

We spent three nights here and used it as a base to explore the area. The camp is clean, well-kept, our site was level and shaded; and the laundry room modern and clean. The managers are very helpful and friendly. It’s close to the freeway, but we weren’t bothered by the noise. This place had the best Wi-Fi!

This seems to be the nicest park near the city. We lucked out with a very nice long pull through site with a perfectly placed shade tree outside our door. If you have a shorter unit you could be in a shared site where you back in to each other and share the outside lawn. So make sure you know what type site you are getting. We have a decent space between our sites which is better than a lot of KOA's. This a Journey KOA and is mainly an overnight stop for most. The park is full every night and then empties in the AM. It is located on the highway which hasn't been a problem at all. The road noise is barely noticeable at night with our fan on and windows closed. We are three rows away from the road which helps. Sites have a picnic table. Some sites have a shade tree. Roads and sites are gravel with grass. Sites are very level with good power and very strong water pressure plus cable TV.

Stayed here due to the proximity to I-90 in late September. Not real busy during my stay so nice. Pretty much like all KOA's, no privacy between sites but there were some trees scattered here and there. Pleasant for a night or so. Friendly management personnel.

Probably good for one night. The noise was the issue. It's a stone's throw from I90 and there must be some military air base nearby, because I heard jets flying over. Our site was a shared W/E with a tent site at the other end.

Super easy getting off the highway. Very kind staff. We booked a pull-through patio site and absolutely love it. They have small fences between the patio sites that really add to the privacy. Great table, chairs, fire bit with more chairs and concrete patio. Sites are very level and decent sized. We were able to get in easily and just able to fit our dually and Jeep in the site as well. We are a little concerned about pulling out because there's a big beautiful tree giving us wonderful shade that will cause a bit of a challenge depending on who's across from us when we leave. It's so close to the highway that you do have to deal with some highway noise. But it's also very close to downtown Sioux Falls which outweighs the noise. It's also very clear that this is not a destination spot but a stop-over spot. Very few people stay more than 1 night. If you are here more than one night make it a point to check out Porter Sculpture Park. It's about 30 min drive away and such a unique, fun part of the journey.

Very nice location and facility, very well kept. Sites were a bit small and tight, but fine for a KOA Journey. Staff member recommended visiting Falls Park for a nice evening walk, beautiful place. Slight noise from I90, but did not bother our sleep. Camping World conveniently located next door if needed. Very good WIFI signal.

OK campground...better than a parking lot type, but the freeway was right next to us which made it unpleasant to sit outside at our picnic table. The staff were friendly. The Miniature Golf course worked but it is in serious deterioration and needs to be rebuilt.

Just passing through for the night. This place was very much optimized for people only staying one night, but it was perfect for what we needed. Staff was very friendly. Check-in was very organized. Sites, bathrooms & showers were quite nice. Everything was clean. Camping World is conveniently located next door within walking distance. Would definitely come here again.

The staff is very nice. Unfortunately, we’ll get a motel before we stay here again at $63.50 (and that was a 10% discount). We wanted a few extras for this stop. Literally, it is 50 yrds from the Interstate - we use earplugs all the time but it was too noisy. The “Cable” TV is like the Internet in the more people connect the picture quality decreases significantly (we suspect it’s satellite distributed by multiple cables). As usual, Internet strength was great at 3pm but terrible 4 hrs later and until 11pm. Cell service was very good.

About what you expect for a KOA next to the interstate. This is RIGHT beside the hwy. we were several rows from the hwy but there is a row on top of it. The roadway noise is fairly loud and we could hear it inside. The sites are not level side to side, but we lived with it overnight. At least an inch off. Utilities were awkwardly placed for a travel trailer and I almost had to unhook to get the water to reach. Gave it a 3 because the KOA next to the hwy are normally much better. But, it works for overnight.

This campground pretty much butts up to I-90 so you will have highway noise. Not a lot elelse to say about this campground. Pretty typical KOA site. Sites were level and close together. I stayed here in mid-October and the restrooms closest to my site were closed for the season. At the end of a long day of driving it was nice to get Grubhub delivered to my site.

Easy on and off the interstate. Like all KOAs it's like a subdivision of RVs. Owners are very nice and helpful. You can hear the interstate but during our stay it definitely quieted down during the night hours. Wifi worked good for browsing the web. I would recommend this place for a short stay. Extra bonus Camping World is next door.

Site: Sioux Falls SD KOA Site: F3 Wifi: Verizon - 38.4 down, 35.9 up / ATT - 10.9 down, 6.14 up Cost: $59/night give or take Noise: Significant, but nothing a hard sleeper couldnt handle. We pulled in to the Sioux Falls KOA, located right off a main highway, after hours and slightly delirious. The after hours check in spot unfortunately didnt have our reservation, so we called the night support number and were immediately greeted and taken to our spot by Penny. We had a pull through site with full hook ups. Being right next to the highway, we consistently hear engine breaking of large vehicles, as well as the nearby air base. Though near transport, there isn't much else nearby save a Camping World. The facilities were sparkling clean throughout our stay, and the hosts Micki and Penny were friendly and helpful. While there was not any real privacy between neighbors, they were friendly and there was a good mixture of full time folks as well as people just there for a few days.

Very well maintained park, super clean, friendly staff. We had a premium site which had a new gas grill and very nice fire pit. It accommodated our 44’ RV and tow vehicle. Would recommend. It is right off the highway which was convenient for us, I didn’t think it was too loud, but you could hear and see the hwy

Park has a decent location for visiting Sioux Falls, but is also right of I-90 which may be noisy depending on your site. Sites are packed in pretty tight so if it's a busy time of year you will be limited on space and privacy. Bathrooms were clean, but 1 (out of 2) shower had almost no pressure. Rate was pretty high, but location was the main benefit. Wifi was useless.
