Silverton isn't exactly a thriving metropolis; its population comes in at the 700 range, and they don't even have a grocery store here, with only one gas station. So, if you have that in mind, and simply want a place to go recharge your batteries and work with excellent internet, well, this is your place. :) There are three electric posts with 50, 30, and 20 amp on each one, and honestly, that's *it* for any sort of indication that this is a place you can stay with your RV. We've stayed in several city-run RV parks at this point, and there's always a "Welcome to Blah Blah, Here's Your Rules" sign. No such thing exists here. If there's a stay limit in place, I don't know what it is. We've not had anyone stop by to talk to us about staying here, nor are there any signs about where we'd go to ask questions if we wanted to. So, I guess that in theory, you can stay forever...? But honestly, I'm not sure why you'd want to. :-p Did I mention that there's only one gas station and no grocery store? There's also no place to dump your tanks here at the park, so you better come empty. Luckily, there is a fresh water faucet – just one for the whole area, so this is a fill-your-tank-up sort of proposition, not a place where you stay hooked up to the water the whole time. One of the other reviewers talked about how their electrical post looked sketchy; the one we pulled up looked a little questionable, but when we plugged our electrical surge protector thingy up to it, it said that the current was correct and that it was wired right, so I guess looks aren't everything.*shrug* We've been staying here for two days now, and have had no problems with the electricity; we're currently running our AC without a problem. Some positives: GREAT internet. Both Verizon and AT&T have excellent reception and bandwidth here; no booster needed. Sprint doesn't do a dang thing, booster on or not. There's a restaurant across the street called Something Different by Kay – it's great good and reasonably priced. Definitely go there for a meal while you're here. These hook-ups are bordering a city park with playground equipment and a basketball court, so if you have kids, this would be a nice spot to stop. There are trash cans throughout, making it easy to find a place to throw your garbage away. The spots to plug in are super large and nicely level; there's no shade but these are otherwise *really* easy to get into. The main road through town is right here; however, it's such a small town and so little is going on, I hardly even noticed the road noise, honestly. The only negative that I can think of: No dump station, and the only gas station in town is about $0.15 higher per gallon for diesel than where we just left. Otherwise, appreciate this for what it is, and please don't abuse it and ruin it for the rest of us. :)
